Jeremiah 35:1 Cross References - CLV

¹ The word that has been unto Jeremiah from Yahweh, in the days of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, saying:"

³⁵ And the silver and the gold has Jehoiakim given to Pharaoh; only he valued the land to give the silver by the command of Pharaoh; from each, according to his valuation, he exacted the silver and the gold, from the people of the land, to give to Pharaoh-Nechoh.

¹ In his days has Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon come up, and Jehoiakim is to him a servant three years; and he turns and rebels against him, ² and Yahweh sends against him the troops of the Chaldeans, and the troops of Aram, and the troops of Moab, and the troops of the sons of Ammon, and He sends them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of Yahweh, that He spoke by the hand of His servants the prophets;" ³ only, by the command of Yahweh it has been against Judah to turn [them] aside from His presence, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did, ⁴ and also the innocent blood that he has shed, and he fills Jerusalem with innocent blood, and Yahweh was not willing to forgive. ⁵ And the rest of the matters of Jehoiakim, and all that he did, are they not written on the book of the Chronicles of the kings of Judah? ⁶ And Jehoiakim lies with his fathers, and Jehoiachin his son reigns in his stead.

⁵ A son of twenty and five years [is] Jehoiakim in his reigning, and eleven years he has reigned in Jerusalem, and he does the evil thing in the eyes of Yahweh his Elohim;" ⁶ against him has Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon come up, and binds him in brazen fetters to take him away to Babylon. ⁷ And of the vessels of the house of Yahweh has Nebuchadnezzar brought in to Babylon, and puts them in his temple in Babylon. ⁸ And the rest of the matters of Jehoiakim, and his abominations that he has done, and that which is found against him, lo, they are written on the book of the kings of Israel and Judah, and reign does Jehoiachin his son in his stead.

³ and it is in the days of Jehoiakim son of Josiah, king of Judah, till the completion of the eleventh year of Zedekiah son of Josiah, king of Judah, till the removal of Jerusalem in the fifth month."

¹³ Woe to him who is building his house by unrighteousness, And his upper chambers by injustice, On his neighbor he lays service for nought, And his wage he does not give to him." ¹⁴ Who is saying, `I build for myself a large house, And airy upper chambers,' And he has cut out for himself its windows, Ceiled with cedar, and painted with vermilion." ¹⁵ Do you reign, because you are fretting yourself in cedar? Your father--did he not eat and drink? Yea, he did judgment and righteousness, Then [it is] well with him." ¹⁶ He decided the cause of the poor and needy, Then [it is] well--is it not to know Me? An affirmation of Yahweh." ¹⁷ But your eyes and your heart are not, Except on your dishonest gain, And on shedding of innocent blood, And on oppression, and on doing of violence." ¹⁸ Therefore, thus said Yahweh concerning Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah:They do not lament for him, Ah, my brother, and Ah, sister, They do not lament for him, Ah, lord, and Ah, his honor." ¹⁹ The burial of an ass--he is buried, Dragged and cast out thence to the gates of Jerusalem."

¹ The word that has been unto Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, --it [is] the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, --"

¹ In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim son of Josiah, king of Judah, has this word been from Yahweh, saying:"

¹ And it comes to pass, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, this word has been unto Jeremiah from Yahweh, saying:"

⁹ And it comes to pass, in the fifth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, in the ninth month, proclaimed a fast before Yahweh have all the people in Jerusalem, and all the people who are coming in from cities of Judah to Jerusalem;"

²⁹ and unto Jehoiakim king of Judah you do say:Thus said Yahweh, You have burnt this roll, saying, Wherefore have you written on it, saying, The king of Babylon surely comes in, and has destroyed this land, and caused to cease from it man and beast?

² For Egypt, concerning the force of Pharaoh-Necho king of Egypt, that has been by the river Phrat, in Carchemish, that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon has smitten, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah:"

¹ In the third year of the kingdom of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, comes Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, to Jerusalem and is besieging it."
