And I say, `A blown pot I am seeing, and its face [is] from the north.'" <sup>14</sup> And Yahweh said unto me, `From the north is the evil loosed against all inhabitants of the land."

⁸ And Yahweh is saying to me, What are you seeing Amos? And I am saying, A plumbline. And my Lord is saying to me, Behold Me placing a plumbline within My people Israel; I will not continue to pass by them any longer."

² And he is saying, What are you seeing Amos? And I am saying, A crate of summer fruit. And Yahweh is saying to me, The end comes for My people Israel. I will not continue still to pass by them,

² And he is saying to me, What are you seeing? And I am saying, I see and behold! a lampstand, all of it of gold, and a globe on its top, and seven lamps on its seven branches, and seven tubes for the lamps which are on its top."

² And he is saying to me, What are you seeing? And I am saying, I am seeing a flying roll. Its length is twenty cubits, and its width is ten cubits."

⁵ Then the messenger who is speaking with me is faring forth and is saying to me, Lift, I pray, your eyes and see what this is that is faring forth." ⁶ And I am saying, What is it? And he is saying, This is an ephah which is faring forth. And he is saying, This is their depravity in the entire earth." ⁷ And behold! A disk of lead is lifted up, and behold one woman is sitting in the midst of the ephah." ⁸ And he is saying, This woman is wickedness. And he is flinging her down into the midst of the ephah. And he is flinging the stone of lead on its mouth." ⁹ Then I am lifting my eyes and am seeing, and behold! Two women faring forth; and the wind is in their wings. And they have wings as the wings of a stork. And they are lifting up the ephah between the earth and the heavens." ¹⁰ And I am saying to the messenger who is speaking with me, Whither are they causing the ephah to go? ¹¹ And he is saying to me, To build for her a house in the land of Shinar. And it shall be established and left there on its base."

³² and in front of Him shall be gathered all the nations. And He shall be severing them from one another even as a shepherd is severing the sheep from the kids. ³³ And He shall be standing the sheep, indeed, at His right, yet the kids at the left."
