¹⁰ Broken is every town--a chaos. Locked is every house against entry.

⁹ Therefore its name is called Babel, for there Yahweh disintegrates the lip of the entire earth. And thence Yahweh Elohim scatters them over the surface of the entire earth.

⁴ then the city is broken up, and all the men of war [go] by night the way of the gate, between the two walls that [are] by the garden of the king, and the Chaldeans [are] against the city round about, and [the king] goes the way of the plain.

⁹ and he burns the house of Yahweh, and the house of the king, and all the houses of Jerusalem, yea, every great house he has burned with fire;" ¹⁰ and the walls of Jerusalem round about have all the forces of the Chaldeans, who [are] with the chief of the executioners, broken down.

¹ LOAD OF TYRE Howl! Ships of Tharshish. For it is devastated of house and entry. They come no longer from the land of Kittim. A deportation has arrived also to them.

¹² And there remains in the city, desolation, and houses, forsaken, perish, and a tumult is pounding the gate."

² For you make of a city, a mound, a fortress town into a fallen heap, a citadel of the arrogant to be no city any more. It shall not be rebuilt for an eon."

¹⁰ For the defended city will be solitary; the homestead will be let go and forsaken as a wilderness. There the calf will graze, and there it will recline, and will finish its forked branches"

¹⁴ For the citadel shall be abandoned. The throng of the city shall forsake it. The hump and lookout become caves, in the future, till the eon; an elation of wild asses, a pasture for droves,

¹¹ Yet the pelican shall tenant it and the hedgehog, and the eagle owl and the raven shall roost in it. And leveling tape of chaos shall stretch out over it, and the plumb stones of vacancy."

¹³ And briars shall come up in its citadels, the sting nettle and the thistle in its fortresses. And it becomes a homestead of jackals, and a court for the ostrich." ¹⁴ And falcons shall encounter each other in arid places, and the hairy goat shall call to its associate. Yea, there shall lull the hoot owl, and find for itself a rest." ¹⁵ There shall nest the scops owl, and it lays and hatches and sets in its shadow. Yea, there shall the black kites be convened, the dam with her mate."

²⁵ Lo, days are coming--an affirmation of Yahweh, And I have laid a charge on all circumcised in the foreskin, ²⁶ On Egypt, and on Judah, and on Edom, And on the sons of Ammon, and on Moab, And on all cutting the corner [of the beard], Who are dwelling in the wilderness, For all the nations [are] uncircumcised, And all the house of Israel [are] uncircumcised in heart!"

⁴ And it comes to pass, when Zedekiah king of Judah, and all the men of war, have seen them, that they flee and go forth by night from the city, the way of the king's garden, through the gate between the two walls, and he goes forth the way of the plain."

⁸ And the house of the king, and the house of the people, have the Chaldeans burnt with fire, and the walls of Jerusalem they have broken down."

⁷ then is the city broken up, and all the men of war flee, and go forth from the city by night, the way of the gate between the two walls, that [is] by the king's garden--and the Chaldeans [are] by the city round about--and they go the way of the plain."

¹³ and he burns the house of Yahweh, and the house of the king, and all the houses of Jerusalem, even every great house he has burned with fire, ¹⁴ and all the walls of Jerusalem round about broken down have all the forces of the Chaldeans that [are] with the chief of the executioners.

¹³ The breacher ascends before them; they breach, and they will pass to the gateway and fare forth by it. And their king shall pass before them, and Yahweh at their head."

¹² Wherefore, due to you, Zion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become rubbish heaps, and the mountain of the house fane heights of a wildwood."

³⁴ Therefore, lo! I am dispatching to you prophets and wise men and scribes. Of them, some you will be killing and crucifying, and of them, some you will be scourging in your synagogues and persecuting from city to city, ³⁵ so that on you should be coming all the just blood shed on the earth, from the blood of just Abel until the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murder between the temple and the altar."

⁴³ for the days will be arriving on you, and your enemies will be casting up a rampart about you, and will be surrounding you, and will be pressing you everywhere,

²⁴ And they shall be falling by the edge of the sword and shall be led into captivity into all nations. And Jerusalem shall be trodden by the nations, until the eras of the nations may be fulfilled."

⁷ And whenever they should be finishing their testimony, the wild beast which is ascending out of the submerged chaos will be doing battle with them and will be conquering them and killing them." ⁸ And their corpses will be at the square of the great city which, spiritually, is being called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord, also, was crucified."

⁵ And on her forehead is written a name: Secret Babylon the Great the mother of the prostitutes and the abominations of the earth. ⁶ And I perceive the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus. And I marvel at perceiving her. The marvel is great!"

² And he cries with a strong voice, saying, "It falls! It falls! Babylon the great! And it became the dwelling place of demons and the jail of every unclean spirit and the cage of every unclean and hateful bird,
