Exodus 11:1 Cross References - CLV

¹ Yahweh said to Moses: One further contagion shall I bring on Pharaoh and on Egypt; afterward he shall dismiss you hence. When he finally dismisses you, he shall drive out, yea drive you out hence.

¹⁴ Moreover, also, the nation which they are serving will I adjudicate. And afterward they are to fare forth hither with great goods.

²⁰ Hence I will put forth My hand and smite Egypt with all My marvels which I shall do within it, and afterward he shall dismiss you.

¹⁴ For at this time I am sending all My strokes onto your heart and your servants and your people in order that you shall know that there is no one such as Me in the entire earth.

³¹ Hence Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron by night and said: Rise! Go forth from the midst of my people, you indeed and the sons of Israel! Go, serve Yahweh as you spoke. ³² Moreover, your flocks, even your herds, take just as you have spoken, and go! However you will bless me. ³³ Also the Egyptians were steadfast over the people to hasten to dismiss them from the land, for they said: All of us are dying. ³⁴ And the people carried their dough ere it was leavened, their kneading-troughs bundled in their garments on their backs. ³⁵ Then the sons of Israel did according to the word of Moses and requested from the Egyptians articles of silver and articles of gold, and garments. ³⁶ And Yahweh, He gave the people favor in the eyes of the Egyptians, when they requested them; thus they despoiled the Egyptians. ³⁷ The sons of Israel journeyed from Rameses toward Succoth, about six hundred thousand men on foot, those of mastery, besides the little ones. ³⁸ Moreover a mixed multitude ascended with them, and flocks, herds and cattle, exceedingly heavy. ³⁹ They baked the dough which they brought forth from Egypt, unleavened ember cakes, for it was not leavened, for they were driven out of Egypt and they could not dally, and, moreover, they did not make provision for themselves.

²¹ If you go contrary to Me and are not willing to hearken to Me, then I will add smitings to you sevenfold according to your sins.

³⁴ Or has an elohim ever tried to come and take for himself a nation from among another nation by trials, by signs and by miracles, by war, by a steadfast hand and by an outstretched arm and by great fear-inspiring deeds, such as all that Yahweh your Elohim did for you in Egypt before your eyes?

⁴ And they say, `What [is] the guilt-offering which we send back to Him?' and they say, `The number of the princes of the Philistines--five golden emerods, and five golden mice--for one plague [is] to you all, and to your princes,

¹⁷ You renew Your testimonies in front of me, And You increase Your vexation against me; Changes of troops come upon me.

⁹ And mankind is scorched with great heat, and they blaspheme the name of God, Who has the jurisdiction over these calamities, and they do not repent, to give Him glory."
