Deuteronomy 22:1 Cross References - CLV

¹ You shall not see your brother's bull or his flockling or any domestic beast of his wandering away and then obscure yourself from them. You shall restore, yea restore them to your brother.

⁴ In case you come upon the bull of your enemy or his donkey going astray you shall return, yea return it to him. ⁵ In case you see the donkey of one hating you reclining under its load, then you will halt from forsaking him. You shall set free, yea set it free with him.

⁴ And if the people of the land should obscure, yea obscure their eyes from that man when he gives of his seed to Moloch, so as to avoid putting him to death,

³ So shall you do with his donkey, so shall you do with his garment, and so shall you do with every loss of your brother which is being lost by him, when you find it. You shall not be able to obscure yourself. ⁴ You shall not see your brother's donkey or his bull or any domestic beast of his fallen on the road and obscure yourself from them. You shall raise, yea raise them with him.

¹¹ Rescue those being taken to death, And you should keep back those who are slipping away to the kill."

²⁷ He who gives to the destitute person shall have no lack, Yet for him who obscures his eyes from them are many curses."

¹⁷ I also tarry for Yahweh, the Concealer of His face from the house of Jacob, and my expectation is toward Him."

⁷ Is it not to share your bread with the famishing, and the humble, brought down, shall you bring home? In case you are seeing the naked, then you cover him with a cloak? And from your own flesh you are not obscuring yourself?

⁴ The weak you have not strengthened, And the sick one you have not healed, And the broken you have not bound up, And the driven away have not brought back, And the lost you have not sought, And with might you have ruled them and with rigor."

¹⁶ The lost I seek, and the driven away bring back, And the broken I bind up, and the sick I strengthen, And the fat and the strong I destroy, I feed it with judgment."

⁶ Yet be going rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

²⁴ Now He, answering, said, "I was not commissioned except for the lost sheep of the house of Israel."

¹² What are you supposing? If it should be occurring to any man, with a hundred sheep, that even one of them should be led astray, will he not leave the ninety-nine sheep on the mountains, and go and seek the one which is straying? ¹³ And if he should come to find it, verily, I am saying to you that he is rejoicing over it, rather than over the ninety-nine that have not strayed."

³¹ Now it happens by a coincidence, that a certain priest descended by that road, and, perceiving him, passed by on the other side." ³² Now likewise, a Levite also, coming to the place and perceiving him, passed by on the other side."

⁴ What man of you, having a hundred sheep, and losing one of them, is not leaving the ninety-nine in the wilderness and is going after the lost one, till he may be finding it? ⁵ And finding it, he is placing it on his shoulders, rejoicing." ⁶ And, coming into the house, he is calling together the friends and the neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice together with me that I found my sheep that was lost!'"

¹⁹ My brethren, if anyone among you should be led astray from the way of the truth, and someone should be turning him back, ²⁰ let him know that he who turns back a sinner out of the deception of his way will be saving his soul from death and will be covering a multitude of sins.

²⁵ For you were as straying sheep, but now you turned back to the Shepherd and Supervisor of your souls."
