¹⁰ They know not to do correctness (averring is Yahweh), who are treasuring violence and devastation in their citadels."

⁴ Have they no knowledge, all those contrivers of lawlessness, Who are devouring My people as they would devour bread? They do not call upon Yahweh."

²² For my people [are] foolish, me they have not known, Foolish sons [are] they, yea, they [are] not intelligent, Wise [are] they to do evil, And to do good they have not known."

⁴ And I--I said, `Surely these [are] poor, They have been foolish, For they have not known the way of Yahweh, The judgment of their Elohim."

⁷ You who are turning judgment to wormwood, and they who stop righteousness on the land--."

¹² Will horses run on a crag? Or will one plow the sea with an ox? For you turn judgment into poison and the fruit of righteousness into wormwood.

⁸ Seeing that you loot many nations, all the rest of the peoples will loot you because of human blood and the violence to the land, to the town and all dwelling in it." ⁹ Woe to him gaining an evil gain for his house in order to place his nest in the height, to be rescued from the clutch of evil!" ¹⁰ You counsel shame for your house to cut away many peoples, and are sinning against your soul, ¹¹ for the stone from the sidewall shall cry out, and the knot from the timber shall answer it."

⁹ And I visit evil on everyone leaping over the sill in that day; those filling the house of Yahweh, their Elohim, with violence and deceit."

³ And he is saying to me, This is the execration which is faring forth over the surface of the entire land, for every thief, henceforth as death doomed shall be visited with vengeance, and every swearer, henceforth as death doomed shall be visited with vengeance." ⁴ I will bring it forth, (averring is Yahweh of hosts), and it enters into the house of the thief, and into the house of him who swears in My name falsely, and it lodges in the midst of his house, and it consumes it and its timbers and its stones."

³ Your gold and silver corrode and their venom will be for a testimony against you, and the venom will be eating your flesh as fire. You hoard in the last days." ⁴ Lo! the wage of the workers, who mow your country places, which has been withheld by you, is crying, and the imploring of the reapers has entered into the ears of the Lord of hosts."

⁵ For they want to be oblivious of this, that there were heavens of old, and an earth cohering out of water and through water, by the word of God;"
