¹¹ and Urijah the priest builds the altar according to all that king Ahaz has sent from Damascus; so did Urijah the priest till the coming in of king Ahaz from Damascus.

¹¹ And the men of his city, the elders and the freemen who are dwelling in his city, do as Jezebel has sent unto them, as written in the letters that she sent unto them, ¹² they have proclaimed a fast, and caused Naboth to sit at the head of the people, ¹³ and two men--sons of worthlessness--come in, and sit over-against him, and the men of worthlessness testify of him, even Naboth, before the people, saying, `Naboth blessed Elohim and Melech;' and they take him out to the outside of the city, and stone him with stones, and he dies;"

¹⁷ And Azariah the priest goes in after him, and with him priests of Yahweh eighty, sons of valor, ¹⁸ and they stand up against Uzziah the king, and say to him, `Not for you, O Uzziah, to make perfume to Yahweh, but for priests, sons of Aaron, who are sanctified to make perfume; go forth from the sanctuary, for you have trespassed, and [it is] not to you for honor from Yahweh Elohim..

² And I am causing to witness for me, faithful witnesses, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah, son of Jeberechiah."

¹¹ For both prophet and priest have been profane, Yea, in My house I found their wickedness, An affirmation of Yahweh."

²⁶ Its priests have wronged My law, And they pollute My holy things, Between holy and common they have not made separation, And between the unclean and the clean they have not made known, And from my sabbaths they have hidden their eyes, And I am pierced in their midst."

⁷ Wherefore, at the stated time, as all the people are hearing the sound of the horn, the pipe, the lyre, the sambuke, the psalteries--all sorts of music in concert--falling down are all the peoples, leagues and language-groups, and worshiping the golden image that is set up by Nebuchadnezzar the king."

⁶ My people shall be stilled because of failing knowledge, seeing that you reject knowledge. Then I am rejecting you from being a priest for Me, and as you are forgetting the law of your Elohim, I will forget your sons--even I."

¹¹ Ephraim shall be extorted and bruised in judgment, for he is disposed to go after futilities."

⁷ For the lips of a priest shall keep knowledge, and the law shall they seek from his mouth, for the messenger of Yahweh of hosts is he." ⁸ Yet you withdraw from the way. You cause many to stumble at the law. You ruin the covenant of Levi, says Yahweh of hosts." ⁹ And, moreover, I make you despised and low to all the people, according as you are not keeping My ways, yet you lift up faces in the law."

¹⁰ For, at present, am I persuading men or God? Or am I seeking to please men? If I still pleased men, I were not a slave of Christ."
