⁴¹ Moses said:Why is this? You are trespassing the bidding of Yahweh, so this shall not prosper.

²⁵ Then some will answer:Because they forsook the covenant of Yahweh Elohim of their fathers, that He had contracted with them when He brought them forth from the country of Egypt, ²⁶ for they went off and served other elohim and bowed themselves down to them, elohim whom they had neither known, nor had He apportioned for them.

³⁴ and the Spirit of Yahweh has clothed Gideon, and he blows with a trumpet, and Abi-Ezer is called after him;"

¹³ And Samuel said unto Saul, `You have been foolish; you have not kept the command of Yahweh your Elohim, which He commanded you, for now had Yahweh established your kingdom over Israel unto the eon;" ¹⁴ and, now, your kingdom does not stand, Yahweh has sought for Himself a man according to His own heart, and Yahweh charges him for leader over His people, for you have not kept that which Yahweh commanded you..

¹⁸ And the Spirit has clothed Amasai, head of the captains:`To you, O David, and with you, O son of Jesse--peace! peace to you, and peace to your helper, for your Elohim has helped you;' and David receives them, and puts them among the heads of the troop.

⁹ `And you, Solomon, my son, know the Elohim of your father, and serve Him with a perfect heart, and with a willing mind, for all hearts is Yahweh seeking, and every imagination of the thoughts He is understanding; if you do seek Him, He is found of you, and if you do forsake Him, He casts you off for ever.

¹ And upon Azariah son of Oded has been the Spirit of Elohim, ² and he goes out before Asa, and said to him, `Hear, me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; Yahweh [is] with you--in your being with Him, and if you seek Him, He is found of you, and if you forsake Him, He forsakes you;"

¹⁴ And upon Jahaziel, son of Zechariah, son of Benaiah, son of Jeiel, son of Mattaniah, the Levite, of the sons of Asaph, has the Spirit of Yahweh been, in the midst of the assembly,

¹¹ And they bring out the son of the king, and put upon him the crown, and the testimony, and cause him to reign; and Jehoiada and his sons anoint him, and say, `Let the king live!.

¹⁹ Instruct you does your wickedness, And your backslidings reprove you, Know and see that an evil and a bitter thing [Is] your forsaking Yahweh your Elohim, And My fear not being on you, An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh of Hosts."

¹⁸ Your way and your doings have done these to you, This [is] your vexation, for [it is] bitter, For it has struck unto your heart."

¹⁹ And it has come to pass, when you say, `For what has Yahweh our Elohim done to us all these?' That you have said unto them, `As you have forsaken Me, And serve the elohims of a foreigner in your land, So do you serve strangers in a land not yours."

²⁵ Your iniquities have turned these away, And your sins have kept the good from you."

¹¹ Yet they are refusing to attend, and they are giving a stubborn shoulder, and their ears they make heavy against hearing, ¹² and their hearts they make corundum against hearing the law and the words which Yahweh of hosts sent by His spirit, by the hand of the former prophets. And great wrath is coming from Yahweh of hosts." ¹³ And it is coming, just as he calls and they did not hear, so are they calling, and I am not hearing, says Yahweh of hosts." ¹⁴ And I am tossing them with a tempest over all the nations who do not know them. And the land is desolate after them, free from anyone passing or returning, for they have made the coveted land a desolation."

³⁵ so that on you should be coming all the just blood shed on the earth, from the blood of just Abel until the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murder between the temple and the altar."
