And it comes to be for a sign of the covenant between Me and you.

³⁰ How could one pursue a thousand or two put a myriad to flight, if it were not that their Rock had sold them, and Yahweh had surrounded them?

⁴ And Yahweh said unto Gideon, `Yet [are] the people too many; bring them down unto the water, and I refine it for you there; and it has been, he of whom I say unto you, This does go with you--he does go with you; and any of whom I say unto you, This does not go with you--he does not go.. <sup>5</sup> And he brings down the people unto the water, and Yahweh said unto Gideon, `Every one who laps with his tongue of the water as the dog laps--you do set him apart; also every one who bows on his knees to drink.. ⁶ And the number of those lapping with their hand unto their mouth is three hundred men, and all the rest of the people have bowed down on their knees to drink water. ⁷ And Yahweh said unto Gideon, `By the three hundred men who are lapping I save you, and have given Midian into your hand, and all the people go, each to his place..

¹⁸ and he thirsts exceedingly, and calls unto Yahweh, and said, `You--You have given by the hand of Your servant this great salvation; and now, I die with thirst, and have fallen into the hand of the uncircumcised..

²⁶ And David speaks unto the men who are standing by him, saying, `What is done to the man who smites this Philistine, and has turned aside reproach from Israel? for who [is] this uncircumcised Philistine that he has reproached the ranks of the living Elohim?.

³⁶ Both the lion and the bear has your servant smitten, and this uncircumcised Philistine has been as one of them, for he has reproached the ranks of the living Elohim..

²⁰ Declare [it] not in Gath, Proclaim not the tidings in the streets of Ashkelon, Lest they rejoice--The daughters of the Philistines, Lest they exult--The daughters of the Uncircumcised!"

⁴ `It may be Yahweh your Elohim does hear all the words of the chief of the butlers with which the king of Asshur his lord has sent him to reproach the living Elohim, and has decided concerning the words that Yahweh your Elohim has heard, and you have lifted up prayer for the remnant that is found..

¹¹ And Asa calls unto Yahweh his Elohim, and said, `Yahweh! it is nothing with You to help, between the mighty and those who have no power; help us, O Yahweh, our Elohim, for on You we have leant, and in Your name we have come against this multitude; O Yahweh, our Elohim you [are]; let him not prevail with You--mortal man!"

¹ Not to us, O Yahweh, not to us, But to Your Name give glory, On account of Your benignity, Your faithfulness." ² Why should the nations say, Where, pray, is their Elohim? ³ Indeed our Elohim is in the heavens; All that He desires, He does."

²³ Thus said Yahweh:Let not the wise boast himself in his wisdom, Nor let the mighty boast himself in his might, Let not the rich boast himself in his riches,

²⁶ On Egypt, and on Judah, and on Edom, And on the sons of Ammon, and on Moab, And on all cutting the corner [of the beard], Who are dwelling in the wilderness, For all the nations [are] uncircumcised, And all the house of Israel [are] uncircumcised in heart!"

¹⁵ Hate evil and love good, and put judgment in the gateway; perhaps Yahweh, Elohim of hosts, will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph."

³ Seek Yahweh, all the humble of the land, who have contrived His judgment; seek righteousness, seek humility. Perhaps you will be concealed in the day of Yahweh's anger."

⁶ And I am saying, No, my lord. And he is answering and speaking to me, saying, This is the word of Yahweh to Zerubbabel, saying:Not by valor, nor by vigor, but rather by My spirit, says Yahweh of hosts."

²⁶ Now, looking at them, Jesus said to them, "With men this is impossible, yet with God all is possible."

³¹ What then, shall we declare to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

¹¹ Wherefore, remember that once you, the nations in flesh - who are termed 'Uncircumcision' by those termed 'Circumcision,' in flesh, made by hands -" ¹² that you were, in that era, apart from Christ, being alienated from the citizenship of Israel, and guests of the promise covenants, having no expectation, and without God in the world."

³ for we are the circumcision who are offering divine service in the spirit of God, and are glorying in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in flesh."
