⁷ My servant Moses is not so; he is faithful in all My house.

¹⁸ I will raise up to them a Prophet from among their brethren, like you; and I will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them as I shall command Him.

¹ And it came to pass after the death of Moses, that the Lord spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, the minister of Moses, saying,

²⁶ He sent forth Moses His servant, and Aaron whom He had chosen.

⁹ But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I say to you, and far more than a prophet.

¹¹ "Assuredly I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

²² For Moses said to the fathers, 'The LORD our God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brothers. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you. ²³ 'And it shall be that every person who does not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.'

³¹ And Moses, seeing it, marveled at the sight; and as he approached it to observe closely, the voice of the Lord came to him,

² Now furthermore what is required among the stewards, is that one be found faithful.

¹⁵ but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how it is necessary to conduct oneself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and bulwark of the truth.

² who is faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house. ³ For this One has been counted worthy of more honor than Moses, inasmuch as He who built the house has more honor than the house. ⁴ For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God. ⁵ And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of the things which would be spoken, ⁶ but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the boast of hope firm until the end.

⁴ Coming to Him as to a living stone, having been rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, ⁵ you also, as living stones, are being built into a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
