⁶ He also spoke this parable: "A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came looking for fruit on it and found none. ⁷ Then he said to the vinedresser, 'Look, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree, and I haven't found any. Cut it down; why does it even waste the ground?'
