¹ After these things Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee, that is, of Tiberias.

¹¹ And the border shall go down from Shepham to Bela eastward to the fountains, and the border shall go down from Bela behind the Sea Chinnereth eastward.

³ And the Arabah as far as the Sea of Chinneroth eastward, and as far as the Sea of the Arabah; the Salt Sea eastward by the way to Beth Jeshimoth, from Taman below the slopes of Pisgah.

¹⁸ Now as He was walking alongside the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.

¹³ When Jesus heard it, He withdrew from there in a boat for a deserted place privately. But when the crowds heard it, they followed Him on foot from the cities. ¹⁴ And coming out, Jesus saw a large crowd, and He was moved with compassion towards them, and healed their sick. ¹⁵ Now when evening came, His disciples came to Him, saying, "The place is deserted, and the hour is already late. Dismiss the crowds, that they may go to the villages and buy themselves food." ¹⁶ But Jesus said to them, "They do not need to go away. You give them food to eat." ¹⁷ And they said to Him, "We do not have anything here except five loaves of bread and two fish." ¹⁸ But He said, "Bring them here to Me." ¹⁹ And commanding the crowds to recline on the grass, taking the five loaves of bread and the two fish, looking up to heaven, He blessed, and breaking them, He gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the crowds. ²⁰ So they all ate and were satisfied, and they took up what they had left of the fragments, twelve baskets full. ²¹ Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, apart from women and children.

²⁹ And moving on from there, Jesus came alongside the Sea of Galilee, and going up into a mountain, He sat down there.

³¹ And He said to them, "Come you yourselves privately to a deserted place and rest a little." For there were many coming and going, and they were not even finding opportunity to eat. ³² And they went away to a deserted place in the boat privately. ³³ But the multitudes saw them going, and many recognized Him, and ran together there on foot from all the cities, and preceded them, and they came together to Him. ³⁴ And when He came out, Jesus saw a large crowd, and He had compassion on them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. So He began to teach them many things. ³⁵ And when it grew late, His disciples came to Him and said, "The place is deserted, and already the hour is late. ³⁶ Dismiss them, so that they may go into the surrounding farms and villages and may buy themselves food; for they have nothing to eat." ³⁷ But answering, He said to them, "You give them something to eat." And they said to Him, "Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread and give them something to eat?" ³⁸ But He said to them, "How many loaves do you have? Go and see." And when they found out they said, "Five, and two fish." ³⁹ Then He gave orders for them all to recline in groups on the green grass. ⁴⁰ And they reclined in parties of hundreds and of fifties. ⁴¹ And taking the five loaves and the two fish, looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke the loaves, and was giving them to His disciples, so that they might set them before them; and the two fish He divided to all. ⁴² So they all ate and were filled. ⁴³ And they took up twelve baskets full of fragments and from the fish. ⁴⁴ Now those who had eaten the loaves were five thousand men.

¹ Now it came to pass, while the crowd pressed upon Him to hear the word of God, that He stood by the Lake of Gennesaret,

¹⁰ And the apostles, when they had returned, recounted to Him all that they had done. And taking them along, He withdrew privately into a deserted place belonging to the city called Bethsaida. ¹¹ But when the crowds found out, they followed Him; and He welcomed them, and was speaking to them about the kingdom of God, and He cured those who needed healing. ¹² Now when the day began to decline, the twelve came and said to Him, "Dismiss the crowd, so that they may go into the surrounding villages and farms, and they may find lodging and find provisions; for we are in a deserted place here." ¹³ But He said to them, "You give them something to eat." And they said, "We have no more than five loaves of bread and two fish, unless we go and buy food for all these people." ¹⁴ For there were about five thousand men. And He said to His disciples, "Make them recline in groups of fifty." ¹⁵ And they did so, and made them all recline. ¹⁶ And taking the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd. ¹⁷ So they all ate and were satisfied, and twelve baskets of the remaining fragments were taken up by them.

²³ however, other boats came from Tiberias, near the place where they ate bread after the Lord had given thanks--

¹ After these things Jesus showed Himself again to the disciples at the Sea of Tiberias, and in this manner He showed Himself:
