²² "Who committed no sin, nor was deceit found in His mouth";

⁹ And I will give the wicked for His burial, and the rich for His death; for He practiced no iniquity, nor craft with His mouth.

⁴ saying, "I have sinned by betraying innocent blood." And they said, "What is that to us? You see to it!"

¹⁹ Now as he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent to him, saying, "Have nothing to do with that just Man, for I have suffered many things today in a dream because of Him."

²³ Then the governor said, "Why, what evil did He do?" But they cried out all the more, saying, "Let Him be crucified!" ²⁴ And Pilate, seeing that nothing was being gained, but rather a riot was starting, taking water, he washed his hands clean in front of the crowd, saying, "I am innocent of the blood of this just Man. You see to it."

⁴¹ And we indeed justly, for we are receiving the due reward of our deeds; but this Man did nothing wrong."

⁴⁷ And when the centurion saw what had happened, he glorified God, saying, "Certainly this was a righteous Man!"

⁴⁷ Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said about him, "Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!"

⁴⁶ Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me?

²¹ For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

¹⁵ For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but having been tempted in all respects in quite the same way as we are, yet without sin.

²⁶ For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, innocent, undefiled, having been separated from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens; ²⁷ who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices beforehand, in behalf of His own sins and then for the people's, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.

²⁸ so also Christ having been offered once in order to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time apart from sin for salvation, to those eagerly waiting for Him.

¹ My little children, these things I write to you, that you may not sin. And if someone should sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

⁵ And you know that He appeared that He might take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.

⁵ And no guile was found in their mouth, for they are blameless.
