²⁴ but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

¹ You shall proclaim wisdom, that understanding may be obedient to you.

²² The Lord made me the beginning of His ways for His works. ²³ He established me in the beginning, before time was, before He made the earth. ²⁴ Even before He made the depths, before the fountains of water came forth; ²⁵ before the mountains were settled, and before all hills, He begot me. ²⁶ The Lord made countries and uninhabited lands, and the highest inhabited parts of the world. ²⁷ When He prepared the heaven, I was present with Him; and when He prepared His throne upon the winds; ²⁸ and when He strengthened the clouds above, and when He secured the fountains of the earth; ²⁹ and when He strengthened the foundations of the earth; ³⁰ I was by Him, suiting myself to Him, I was that in which He took delight; and daily I rejoiced in His presence continually.

³⁵ And so wisdom is justified by all her children."

⁴⁹ Therefore the wisdom of God also said, 'I will send to them prophets and apostles, and some of them they will kill and persecute,'

⁴ who was declared Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness by the resurrection of the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,

¹⁶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes, both to the Jew first and to the Greek.

²⁸ And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. ²⁹ Because whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers. ³⁰ Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

²⁴ even us whom He called, not only of the Jews, but also of the Gentiles?

² to the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all those who in every place are calling on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

⁹ God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

¹⁸ For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

³⁰ But from Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption;

³ in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
