¹ At the same tyme Herode the king stretched foorth his handes to vexe certayne of the Churche

¹⁷ But beware of men. For they shall delyuer you vp to the councels, and shal scourge you in their synagogues ¹⁸ And ye shalbe brought to the head rulers, and kynges, for my sake, in witnesse to them, and to the Gentiles

⁹ Then shall they put you to trouble, and shall kyll you, and ye shalbe hated of all nations for my names sake

⁵³ When I was dayly with you in the temple, ye stretched foorth no handes agaynst me: But this is euen your very houre, and the power of darknesse

²⁰ Remember the worde that I sayde vnto you: the seruaunt is not greater then the Lorde. If they haue persecuted me, they wyll also persecute you. If they haue kept my saying, they wyll kepe yours also

² They shall excomunitate you: yea the time shall come, that who so euer kylleth you, wyll thynke that he doth God seruice

³⁰ So that thou stretch foorth thyne hande, that healyng, and signes, and wonders, be done by the name of thy holy chylde Iesus

³¹ Then had the Churches rest throughout all Iurie, and Galilee, and Samaria, and were edified, and walked in the feare of the Lorde, & multiplied by the comfort of the holy ghost
