³ Or are you unaware that as many as have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death?

¹⁹ Therefore having gone, disciple all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,

³⁸ And Peter says to them, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

¹⁶ For He was not yet fallen upon any of them, but they had only been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.

⁵ And having heard, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.

⁴ Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised up out from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also should walk in newness of life. ⁵ For if we have become united in the likeness of His death, certainly also we will be of the resurrection,

⁸ Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with Him,

¹⁶ Do you not know that to whom you yield yourselves as slaves for obedience, you are slaves to him whom you obey, whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?

¹ Or are you ignorant brothers (for I speak to those knowing the law), that the law rules over the man for as long as the time he is alive?

¹⁶ Do you not know that you yourselves are God’s temple, and the Spirit of God dwells in you?

⁶ Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?

² Or do you not know that saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you unworthy of the smallest of cases? ³ Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life?

⁹ Or do you not know that the unrighteous ones will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,

¹⁵ Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Having taken then the members of the Christ, shall I make them members of a prostitute? Never may it be! ¹⁶ Or do you not know that the one being joined to the prostitute is one body? For it says, “The two will become into one flesh.”

¹⁹ Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit in you, whom you have from God? And you are not your own,

¹³ Do you not know that those working in the temple eat the things of the temple; those attending at the altar partake in the altar?

²⁴ Do you not know that those running in a race course, indeed all run, but one receives the prize? Run thus, that you might obtain it.

¹³ For also in one Spirit we all were baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink one Spirit.

²⁹ Otherwise what will they do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why also are they baptized for them?

⁵ Examine yourselves whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Or do you not recognize yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you, unless you are unapproved?

²⁰ I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. And that which I now live in the flesh, I live through faith from the Son of God, the One having loved me and having given up Himself for me. ²¹ I do not set aside the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the Law, then Christ died for naught.”

²⁷ For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

⁴ Adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility with God? Therefore whoever has chosen to be a friend of the world is appointed an enemy of God.

²¹ which also prefigures the baptism now saving you, not a putting away of the filth of flesh, but the demand of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
