¹ Therefore I exhort you, brothers, through the compassions of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy to God, well-pleasing, which is your reasonable service.

⁴⁷ Therefore I say to you this: Her many sins have been forgiven, for she loved much; but to whom little is forgiven, he loves little.”

⁴ Or do you despise the riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?

¹³ Neither yield your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but yield yourselves to God, as living out from the dead, and your members to God as instruments of righteousness.

¹⁶ Do you not know that to whom you yield yourselves as slaves for obedience, you are slaves to him whom you obey, whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?

¹⁹ I speak in human terms on account of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you yielded your members in bondage to impurity and to lawlessness unto lawlessness, so now yield your members in bondage to righteousness unto sanctification.

²³ that He might also make known the riches of His glory upon the vessels of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory,

³⁰ For just as you once were disobedient to God, but now have been shown mercy by the disobedience of these, ³¹ so these also now have been disobedient for your mercy, so that they also now may have mercy shown them.

² And do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind, for you to prove what is the good and well-pleasing and perfect will of God.

¹⁶ for me to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, administering the sacred service of the gospel of God, so that the offering of the Gentiles might become acceptable, having been sanctified in the Holy Spirit.

³⁰ Now I exhort you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in the prayers for me to God,

¹⁰ Now I exhort you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and there be no divisions among you, but you may be having been knit together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

⁷ Cleanse out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, as you are, unleavened. For also Christ our Passover lamb has been sacrificed, ⁸ so that we might celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, not with leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and of truth.

¹³ “Foods for the belly and the belly for foods,” but God will destroy both this and these. Now the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. ¹⁴ And by His power God has both raised up the Lord, and will raise us out. ¹⁵ Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Having taken then the members of the Christ, shall I make them members of a prostitute? Never may it be! ¹⁶ Or do you not know that the one being joined to the prostitute is one body? For it says, “The two will become into one flesh.” ¹⁷ But the one being joined to the Lord is one spirit. ¹⁸ Flee sexual immorality. Every sin, whatever if a man might do, is outside the body, but the one sinning sexually sins against the own body. ¹⁹ Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit in you, whom you have from God? And you are not your own, ²⁰ for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body.

¹ Because of this, having this ministry, as we received mercy, we do not lose heart.

¹⁶ Therefore we do not lose heart; but indeed if our outward man is being brought to decay, yet our inner self is being renewed day and day.

¹⁴ For the love of Christ compels us, having concluded this, that One has died for all, therefore all have died. ¹⁵ And He died for all that those living no longer should live to themselves, but to the One having died for them and having been raised again.

²⁰ Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God is beseeching through us. We implore on behalf of Christ: Be reconciled to God.

¹ And working together, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

¹ Now I, Paul, myself exhort you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, I who indeed as to appearance am humble among you, but being absent am bold toward you.

⁴ But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, ⁵ made us alive with Christ even we being dead in trespasses—by grace you are saved— ⁶ and He raised us up together and seated us together in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, ⁷ in order that in the coming ages He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. ⁸ For by grace you are saved through faith, and this not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, ⁹ not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. ¹⁰ For we are His workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

¹ Therefore I, the prisoner in the Lord, exhort you to walk worthily of the calling to which you were called,

¹⁰ discerning what is well-pleasing to the Lord.

²⁰ according to my earnest expectation and hope that I will be ashamed in nothing, but in all boldness also now as always, Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death.

¹ Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affections and compassions, ² fulfill my joy so that you may be of the same mind, having the same love, united in soul, minding the same thing, ³ nothing according to self-interest or according to vain conceit, but in humility be esteeming one another surpassing themselves, ⁴ each considering not the things of themselves, but each also the things of others. ⁵ Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus:

¹⁷ But even if I am being poured out as a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all.

¹⁸ But I have all things, and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things from you, an odor of a sweet smell, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God.

¹ Finally then, brothers, we implore and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that just as you have received from us in what manner it behooves you to walk and to please God, just as even you walk now, so you should abound more.

¹⁰ And indeed you are doing this toward all the brothers, the ones in all Macedonia. But we exhort you, brothers, to abound more and more,

¹² But we implore you, brothers, to appreciate those toiling among you, and taking the lead over you in the Lord, and admonishing you,

³ This is good and acceptable before God our Savior,

⁴ But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them learn to be devout first to the own household and to give recompense to parents; for this is pleasing before God.

⁴ But when the kindness and the love of mankind of God our Savior appeared, ⁵ He saved us, not by works in righteousness that we did, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, ⁶ whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, ⁷ so that, having been justified by that grace, we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. ⁸ Trustworthy is the saying, and I want you to affirm strongly concerning these things, so that those believing God may take care to be devoted to good works. These things are excellent and profitable to men.

²⁰ by a new and living way, which He dedicated for us through the veil that is His flesh, ²¹ and having a great priest over the house of God, ²² we should draw near with a sincere heart, in full assurance of faith, our hearts having been sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our body having been washed with pure water.

¹⁵ Through Him then, we should offer the sacrifice of praise continually, everything to God, that is, the fruit of the lips confessing His name. ¹⁶ And do not be forgetful of the good, and of the sharing; for God is well pleased with such sacrifices.

²² Now I exhort you, brothers, bear with the word of exhortation, for I have only written to you in few words.

⁵ you yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house into a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

¹⁰ who once were not a people, but now are the people of God; those not having received mercy, but now having received mercy. ¹¹ Beloved, I exhort you as aliens and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly desires, which war against the soul, ¹² keeping your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that wherein which they speak against you as evildoers, through having witnessed the good deeds, they may glorify God in the day of visitation.

²⁰ For what kind of credit is it, if sinning and being struck, you shall endure? But if you shall endure doing good and suffering, this is commendable before God.
