¹³ For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

¹⁷ Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the Prophets. I have not come to abolish, but to fulfill. ¹⁸ For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth shall pass away, not even one iota, nor one stroke of a letter, shall pass away from the law, until everything should happen.

²⁷ And having begun from Moses and from all the Prophets, He interpreted to them the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures.

⁴⁴ And He said unto to them, “These are my words, which I spoke to you being still with you, that all things having been written concerning Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms, it behooves to be fulfilled.”

⁴⁶ For if you were believing Moses, you would have believed Me; for he wrote concerning Me. ⁴⁷ And unless you believe his writings, how will you believe My words?”

²² For Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up to you a prophet like me out from your brothers. You will listen to Him in all things, as many as He might say to you. ²³ And it will be that every soul who might not heed that prophet will be utterly destroyed out from the people.’ ²⁴ And also all the prophets from Samuel, and those subsequently, as many as have spoken, also have proclaimed these days.

²⁷ For those dwelling in Jerusalem and their rulers, not having known Him and the voices of the prophets that are being read on every Sabbath, having condemned Him, they fulfilled them.

²¹ But now apart from Law, the righteousness of God has been revealed, being borne witness to by the Law and the Prophets.
