Are you able to drink the cup which I am about to drink?” They say to Him, “We are able.” 23 He says to them, “Indeed you will drink My cup, but to sit on My right hand and on My left, this is not Mine to give, but for whom it has been prepared by My Father.” 24 And the ten having heard this, were indignant about the two brothers. 25 And Jesus having summoned them, said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and the great ones exercise authority over them. 26 Thus will it not be among you. But whoever wishes to become great among you, he will be your servant; 27 and whoever wishes to be first among you, he will be your slave— 28 even as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

Mark 1:19-20
