¹³ And Pilate, having called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,

²¹ And the governor answering said to them, “Which of the two do you desire that I release to you?” And they said, “Barabbas.” ²² Pilate says to them, “What then should I do with Jesus, who is called Christ?” They all say, “Let Him be crucified.” ²³ And he said, “For what evil did He commit?” And they kept crying out all the more, saying, “Let Him be crucified.”

¹⁴ And Pilate was saying to them, “Why? What evil did He commit?” But they shouted much more, “Crucify Him!”

³⁸ Pilate says to Him, “What is truth?” And having said this, he went out again to the Jews and says to them, “I find no guilt in Him.

⁴ And Pilate went forth outside again and says to them, “Behold, I bring Him out to you so that you may know that I find no guilt in Him.”
