¹² Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on hearts of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience,

²² And unless those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved; but because of the elect, those days will be shortened.

²⁴ For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will give great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.

³¹ And He will send His angels with a great trumpet call, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from the ends of the heavens to the ends thereof.

²⁰ And if the Lord had not shortened the days, not any flesh would have been saved; but on account of the elect whom He chose, He has shortened the days.

²² For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will give signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, the elect.

²⁷ And then He will send the angels and will gather together His elect from the four winds, from the end of earth to the end of heaven.

⁷⁸ through the affections of compassion of our God, in which the Sunrise will visit us from on high,

⁷ And shall not God execute the avenging of His elect, the ones crying out to Him day and night, and be deferring in regard to them?

⁷ To all those being in Rome beloved of God, called saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁹ because those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, for Him to be firstborn among many brothers. ³⁰ And those whom He predestined, these also He called; and whom He called, these also He justified; and whom He justified, these also He glorified. ³¹ What then will we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? ³² For He who spared not the own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, with Him, grant us all things? ³³ Who will bring an accusation against the elect of God? God is the One justifying.

¹¹ for they not yet having been born nor having done anything good or evil, so that the purpose of God according to election might stand,

⁵ So then also, in the present time, there has been a remnant according to the election of grace. ⁶ And if by grace, it is no longer from works; otherwise grace no longer would be grace. ⁷ What then? What Israel is seeking, this it has not obtained, but the elect obtained it. And the rest were hardened,

⁹ Let love be unfeigned: abhorring evil, cleaving to good, ¹⁰ devoted to one another in brotherly love, esteeming one another in honor,

⁶ in purity, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness; in the Holy Spirit, in genuine love;

⁶ For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any power, but only faith working through love.

²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ²³ gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.

⁴ just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world for us to be holy and blameless before Him, in love

⁴ But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, ⁵ made us alive with Christ even we being dead in trespasses—by grace you are saved—

² with all humility and gentleness; with patience bearing with one another in love;

²⁴ and to have put on the new man, having been created according to God in righteousness and holiness of truth.

³² And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, as also in Christ God forgave you.

⁸ For God is my witness how I long after you all in the affection of Christ Jesus.

¹ Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affections and compassions, ² fulfill my joy so that you may be of the same mind, having the same love, united in soul, minding the same thing, ³ nothing according to self-interest or according to vain conceit, but in humility be esteeming one another surpassing themselves, ⁴ each considering not the things of themselves, but each also the things of others.

¹⁰ and having put on the new, the one being renewed in knowledge according to the image of the one having created him,

³ remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and unceasing labor of love, and the endurance of the hope of our Lord Jesus Christ, ⁴ knowing, brothers beloved by God, your election, ⁵ because our gospel came to you not in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit, and with much full assurance, just as you know what we were among you on account of you. ⁶ And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much tribulation, with the joy of the Holy Spirit,

¹⁵ See that no one has repaid to anyone evil for evil, but always pursue the good also toward one another and toward all.

¹³ But we ought to give thanks to God always concerning you, brothers beloved by the Lord, that God has chosen you from the beginning unto salvation in the sanctification of the Spirit, and by faith of the truth; ¹⁴ to this also He called you through our gospel to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁹ the One having saved us and having called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, having been given us in Christ Jesus before time eternal,

¹⁰ Because of this, I endure all things for the sake of the elect, so that they also may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.

¹ Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of the elect of God and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness,

⁴ But when the kindness and the love of mankind of God our Savior appeared, ⁵ He saved us, not by works in righteousness that we did, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, ⁶ whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,

¹⁷ But the wisdom from above is indeed first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and of good fruits, impartial, sincere. ¹⁸ And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those making peace.

² according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctification of the Spirit unto the obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: May grace and peace be multiplied to you.

⁸ Now the end: All be single-minded, sympathetic, loving as brothers, tender-hearted, humble, ⁹ not repaying evil for evil or insult for insult; but on the contrary blessing, because to this you were called, so that you should inherit blessing. ¹⁰ For, “The one desiring to love life, and to see good days, let him keep the tongue from evil, and lips not to speak deceit. ¹¹ Also let him turn away from evil, and let him do good. Let him seek peace and let him pursue it.

⁵ Now also for this very reason, having brought in all earnestness, supplement into your faith virtue, and into virtue knowledge, ⁶ and into knowledge self-control, and into self-control endurance, and into endurance godliness, ⁷ and into godliness brotherly affection, and into brotherly affection love. ⁸ For these things being in you and abounding, make you neither idle nor unfruitful as to the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁰ Therefore, brothers, be diligent, rather, to make your calling and election sure. For practicing these things, never at any time shall you stumble.

¹⁴ We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. The one not loving abides in death. ¹⁵ Everyone hating his brother is a murderer; and you know that any murderer does not have eternal life abiding in him. ¹⁶ By this we have known love, because He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. ¹⁷ Now whoever might have the world’s goods, and might see his brother having need, and might close up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? ¹⁸ Little children, we should love not in word, nor in tongue, but in action and in truth. ¹⁹ And by this we will know that we are of the truth, and we will assure our heart before Him, ²⁰ that if our heart should condemn us, that God is greater than our heart, and He knows all things.

¹⁹ We love because He first loved us.

¹³ The children of your elect sister greet you.

¹⁴ These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those with Him are called and chosen and faithful.”
