⁴¹ ἀποστελεῖ (Will send forth) ὁ (the) Υἱὸς (Son) τοῦ (-) ἀνθρώπου (of Man) τοὺς (the) ἀγγέλους (angels) αὐτοῦ (of Him), καὶ (and) συλλέξουσιν (they will gather) ἐκ (out of) τῆς (the) βασιλείας (kingdom) αὐτοῦ (of Him) πάντα (all) τὰ (the) σκάνδαλα (causes of sin) καὶ (and) τοὺς (those) ποιοῦντας (practicing) τὴν (-) ἀνομίαν (lawlessness),

²² καὶ (And) εἰ (if) μὴ (not) ἐκολοβώθησαν (had been shortened) αἱ (the) ἡμέραι (days) ἐκεῖναι (those), οὐκ (not) ἂν (-) ἐσώθη (there would have been saved) πᾶσα (any) σάρξ (flesh); διὰ (because of) δὲ (however) τοὺς (the) ἐκλεκτοὺς (elect), κολοβωθήσονται (will be shortened) αἱ (the) ἡμέραι (days) ἐκεῖναι (those).

³¹ Ὅταν (When) δὲ (then) ἔλθῃ (comes) ὁ (the) υἱὸς (Son) τοῦ (-) ἀνθρώπου (of Man) ἐν (in) τῇ (the) δόξῃ (glory) αὐτοῦ (of Him), καὶ (and) πάντες (all) οἱ (the) ἄγγελοι (angels) μετ’ (with) αὐτοῦ (Him), τότε (then) καθίσει (He will sit) ἐπὶ (upon the) θρόνου (throne) δόξης (of glory) αὐτοῦ (of Him).

¹⁸ Καὶ (And) προσελθὼν (having come to them), ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) ἐλάλησεν (spoke) αὐτοῖς (to them), λέγων (saying), “Ἐδόθη (Has been given) μοι (to Me) πᾶσα (all) ἐξουσία (authority) ἐν (in) οὐρανῷ (heaven) καὶ (and) ἐπὶ (on) τῆς (the) γῆς (earth).

²⁷ καὶ (And) τότε (then) ἀποστελεῖ (He will send) τοὺς (the) ἀγγέλους (angels), καὶ (and) ἐπισυνάξει (will gather together) τοὺς (the) ἐκλεκτοὺς (elect) αὐτοῦ (of Him), ἐκ (from) τῶν (the) τεσσάρων (four) ἀνέμων (winds), ἀπ’ (from the) ἄκρου (end) γῆς (of earth) ἕως (to the) ἄκρου (end) οὐρανοῦ (of heaven).

¹⁵ Καὶ (And) εἶπεν (He said) αὐτοῖς (to them), “Πορευθέντες (Having gone) εἰς (into) τὸν (the) κόσμον (world) ἅπαντα (all), κηρύξατε (proclaim) τὸ (the) εὐαγγέλιον (gospel) πάσῃ (to all) τῇ (the) κτίσει (creation). ¹⁶ ὁ (The one) πιστεύσας (having believed) καὶ (and) βαπτισθεὶς (having been baptized) σωθήσεται (will be saved); ὁ (the one) δὲ (however) ἀπιστήσας (having disbelieved) κατακριθήσεται (will be condemned).

⁴⁷ καὶ (and) κηρυχθῆναι (to be proclaimed) ἐπὶ (in) τῷ (the) ὀνόματι (name) αὐτοῦ (of Him) μετάνοιαν (repentance) εἰς (and) ἄφεσιν (forgiveness) ἁμαρτιῶν (of sins) εἰς (to) πάντα (all) τὰ (-) ἔθνη (nations), ἀρξάμενοι (having begun) ἀπὸ (from) Ἰερουσαλήμ (Jerusalem).

⁵² καὶ (and) οὐχ (not) ὑπὲρ (for) τοῦ (the) ἔθνους (nation) μόνον (only), ἀλλ’ (but) ἵνα (that) καὶ (also) τὰ (the) τέκνα (children) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God), τὰ (those) διεσκορπισμένα (having been scattered), συναγάγῃ (He might gather together) εἰς (into) ἕν (one).

¹⁹ Ὅθεν (So then), βασιλεῦ (O king) Ἀγρίππα (Agrippa), οὐκ (not) ἐγενόμην (I was) ἀπειθὴς (disobedient) τῇ (to the) οὐρανίῳ (heavenly) ὀπτασίᾳ (vision), ²⁰ ἀλλὰ (but) τοῖς (to those) ἐν (in) Δαμασκῷ (Damascus) πρῶτόν (first), τε (both) καὶ (and) Ἱεροσολύμοις (Jerusalem) πᾶσάν (all), τε (and) τὴν (the) χώραν (region) τῆς (-) Ἰουδαίας (of Judea), καὶ (and) τοῖς (to the) ἔθνεσιν (Gentiles), ἀπήγγελλον (I kept declaring) μετανοεῖν (to repent) καὶ (and) ἐπιστρέφειν (to turn) ἐπὶ (to) τὸν (-) Θεόν (God), ἄξια (worthy) τῆς (-) μετανοίας (of repentance) ἔργα (works) πράσσοντας (doing).

¹⁸ Ἀλλὰ (But) λέγω (I ask), μὴ (no) οὐκ (not) ἤκουσαν (did they hear)? μενοῦνγε (Indeed): “Εἰς (Into) πᾶσαν (all) τὴν (the) γῆν (earth) ἐξῆλθεν (has gone out) ὁ (the) φθόγγος (voice) αὐτῶν (of them); καὶ (and) εἰς (to) τὰ (the) πέρατα (ends) τῆς (of the) οἰκουμένης (world), τὰ (the) ῥήματα (words) αὐτῶν (of them).”

⁵² ἐν (in) ἀτόμῳ (an instant), ἐν (in) ῥιπῇ (the twinkling) ὀφθαλμοῦ (of an eye), ἐν (at) τῇ (the) ἐσχάτῃ (last) σάλπιγγι (trumpet). σαλπίσει (The trumpet will sound) γάρ (for), καὶ (and) οἱ (the) νεκροὶ (dead) ἐγερθήσονται (will be raised) ἄφθαρτοι (imperishable), καὶ (and) ἡμεῖς (we) ἀλλαγησόμεθα (will be changed).

¹⁰ εἰς (for) οἰκονομίαν (the administration) τοῦ (of the) πληρώματος (fullness) τῶν (of the) καιρῶν (times), ἀνακεφαλαιώσασθαι (to bring together) τὰ (the) πάντα (all things) ἐν (in) τῷ (-) Χριστῷ (Christ), τὰ (the things) ἐπὶ (in) τοῖς (the) οὐρανοῖς (heavens) καὶ (and) τὰ (the things) ἐπὶ (upon) τῆς (the) γῆς (earth),

¹⁶ ὅτι (because) αὐτὸς (Himself) ὁ (the) Κύριος (Lord) ἐν (with) κελεύσματι (a loud command), ἐν (with) φωνῇ (the voice) ἀρχαγγέλου (of an archangel), καὶ (and) ἐν (with) σάλπιγγι (the trumpet) Θεοῦ (of God), καταβήσεται (will descend) ἀπ’ (from) οὐρανοῦ (heaven), καὶ (and) οἱ (the) νεκροὶ (dead) ἐν (in) Χριστῷ (Christ) ἀναστήσονται (will rise) πρῶτον (first).

¹ Ἐρωτῶμεν (We implore) δὲ (now) ὑμᾶς (you), ἀδελφοί (brothers), ὑπὲρ (by) τῆς (the) παρουσίας (coming) τοῦ (of the) Κυρίου (Lord) ἡμῶν (of us) Ἰησοῦ (Jesus) Χριστοῦ (Christ) καὶ (and) ἡμῶν (our) ἐπισυναγωγῆς (gathering together) ἐπ’ (unto) αὐτόν (Him),

²⁰ τὸ (the) μυστήριον (mystery) τῶν (of the) ἑπτὰ (seven) ἀστέρων (stars), οὓς (which) εἶδες (you saw) ἐπὶ (on) τῆς (the) δεξιᾶς (right hand) μου (of Me), καὶ (and) τὰς (the) ἑπτὰ (seven) λυχνίας (lampstands) τὰς (-) χρυσᾶς (golden): οἱ (The) ἑπτὰ (seven) ἀστέρες (stars) ἄγγελοι (the angels) τῶν (of the) ἑπτὰ (seven) ἐκκλησιῶν (churches) εἰσίν (are), καὶ (and) αἱ (the) λυχνίαι (lampstands) αἱ (-) ἑπτὰ (seven) ἑπτὰ (the seven) ἐκκλησίαι (churches) εἰσίν (are).

¹ Μετὰ (After) τοῦτο (these things) εἶδον (I saw) τέσσαρας (four) ἀγγέλους (angels) ἑστῶτας (standing) ἐπὶ (upon) τὰς (the) τέσσαρας (four) γωνίας (corners) τῆς (of the) γῆς (earth), κρατοῦντας (holding) τοὺς (the) τέσσαρας (four) ἀνέμους (winds) τῆς (of the) γῆς (earth), ἵνα (so that) μὴ (no) πνέῃ (would blow) ἄνεμος (wind) ἐπὶ (on) τῆς (the) γῆς (earth), μήτε (nor) ἐπὶ (on) τῆς (the) θαλάσσης (sea), μήτε (nor) ἐπὶ (on) πᾶν (any) δένδρον (tree).

² καὶ (And) εἶδον (I saw) τοὺς (the) ἑπτὰ (seven) ἀγγέλους (angels) οἳ (who) ἐνώπιον (before) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (God) ἑστήκασιν (stand), καὶ (and) ἐδόθησαν (were given) αὐτοῖς (to them) ἑπτὰ (seven) σάλπιγγες (trumpets).

¹⁵ Καὶ (And) ὁ (the) ἕβδομος (seventh) ἄγγελος (angel) ἐσάλπισεν (sounded his trumpet), καὶ (and) ἐγένοντο (there were) φωναὶ (voices) μεγάλαι (great) ἐν (in) τῷ (-) οὐρανῷ (heaven), λέγοντες (saying): “Ἐγένετο (Has become) ἡ (the) βασιλεία (kingdom) τοῦ (of the) κόσμου (world), τοῦ (that of the) Κυρίου (Lord) ἡμῶν (of us), καὶ (and) τοῦ (of the) Χριστοῦ (Christ) αὐτοῦ (of Him), καὶ (and) βασιλεύσει (He will reign) εἰς (to) τοὺς (the) αἰῶνας (ages) τῶν (of the) αἰώνων (ages).”

⁶ Καὶ (And) εἶδον (I saw) ἄλλον (another) ἄγγελον (angel) πετόμενον (flying) ἐν (in) μεσουρανήματι (mid-heaven), ἔχοντα (having) εὐαγγέλιον (the glad tidings) αἰώνιον (everlasting) εὐαγγελίσαι (to preach) ἐπὶ (upon) τοὺς (those) καθημένους (dwelling) ἐπὶ (on) τῆς (the) γῆς (earth), καὶ (and) ἐπὶ (upon) πᾶν (every) ἔθνος (nation) καὶ (and) φυλὴν (tribe) καὶ (and) γλῶσσαν (tongue) καὶ (and) λαόν (people), ⁷ λέγων (saying) ἐν (in) φωνῇ (a voice) μεγάλῃ (loud), “Φοβήθητε (Fear) τὸν (-) Θεὸν (God), καὶ (and) δότε (give) αὐτῷ (Him) δόξαν (glory), ὅτι (because) ἦλθεν (has come) ἡ (the) ὥρα (hour) τῆς (of the) κρίσεως (judgment) αὐτοῦ (of Him). καὶ (And) προσκυνήσατε (worship) τῷ (the One) ποιήσαντι (having made) τὸν (-) οὐρανὸν (heaven), καὶ (and) τὴν (the) γῆν (earth), καὶ (and) θάλασσαν (sea), καὶ (and) πηγὰς (springs) ὑδάτων (of waters).” ⁸ Καὶ (And) ἄλλος (another) ἄγγελος (angel), δεύτερος (a second) ἠκολούθησεν (followed), λέγων (saying), “Ἔπεσεν (Fallen), ἔπεσεν (Fallen is) Βαβυλὼν (Babylon) ἡ (the) μεγάλη (great), ἣ (who) ἐκ (of) τοῦ (the) οἴνου (wine) τοῦ (-) θυμοῦ (of wrath) τῆς (for the) πορνείας (immorality) αὐτῆς (of her), πεπότικεν (she has given to drink) πάντα (all) τὰ (the) ἔθνη (Gentiles).” ⁹ Καὶ (And) ἄλλος (another) ἄγγελος (angel), τρίτος (a third), ἠκολούθησεν (followed) αὐτοῖς (them), λέγων (saying) ἐν (in) φωνῇ (a voice) μεγάλῃ (loud), “Εἴ (If) τις (anyone) προσκυνεῖ (worships) τὸ (the) θηρίον (beast) καὶ (and) τὴν (the) εἰκόνα (image) αὐτοῦ (of it), καὶ (and) λαμβάνει (receives) χάραγμα (a mark) ἐπὶ (on) τοῦ (the) μετώπου (forehead) αὐτοῦ (of him), ἢ (or) ἐπὶ (upon) τὴν (the) χεῖρα (hand) αὐτοῦ (of him),
