Mark 16:9-10

Luke 24:1-11

1 Τῇ (The) δὲ (however) μιᾷ (first day) τῶν (of the) σαββάτων (week), ὄρθρου (dawn) βαθέως (very early), ἐπὶ (to) τὸ (the) μνῆμα (tomb) ἦλθον (they came), φέρουσαι (bringing) ἃ (that) ἡτοίμασαν (they had prepared) ἀρώματα (spices). 2 εὗρον (They found) δὲ (then) τὸν (the) λίθον (stone) ἀποκεκυλισμένον (having been rolled away) ἀπὸ (from) τοῦ (the) μνημείου (tomb). 3 εἰσελθοῦσαι (Having entered) δὲ (however), οὐχ (not) εὗρον (they found) τὸ (the) σῶμα (body) τοῦ (of the) Κυρίου (Lord) Ἰησοῦ (Jesus). 4 καὶ (And) ἐγένετο (it came to pass) ἐν (while) τῷ (-) ἀπορεῖσθαι (are perplexed) αὐτὰς (they) περὶ (about) τούτου (this), καὶ (that) ἰδοὺ (behold), ἄνδρες (men) δύο (two) ἐπέστησαν (stood by) αὐταῖς (them) ἐν (in) ἐσθῆτι (garments) ἀστραπτούσῃ (dazzling). 5 ἐμφόβων (Terrified) δὲ (then) γενομένων (having become) αὐτῶν (of them) καὶ (and) κλινουσῶν (bowing) τὰ (the) πρόσωπα (faces) εἰς (to) τὴν (the) γῆν (ground), εἶπαν (they said) πρὸς (to) αὐτάς (them), “Τί (Why) ζητεῖτε (seek you) τὸν (the) ζῶντα (living) μετὰ (among) τῶν (the) νεκρῶν (dead)? 6 οὐκ (Not) ἔστιν (He is) ὧδε (here), ἀλλὰ (but) ἠγέρθη (He is risen)! μνήσθητε (Remember) ὡς (how) ἐλάλησεν (He spoke) ὑμῖν (to you), ἔτι (yet) ὢν (being) ἐν (in) τῇ (-) Γαλιλαίᾳ (Galilee), 7 λέγων (saying), ‘Τὸν (The) Υἱὸν (Son) τοῦ (-) ἀνθρώπου (of Man) ὅτι (-) δεῖ (it behooves) παραδοθῆναι (to be delivered) εἰς (into) χεῖρας (hands) ἀνθρώπων (of men) ἁμαρτωλῶν (sinful), καὶ (and) σταυρωθῆναι (to be crucified), καὶ (and) τῇ (the) τρίτῃ (third) ἡμέρᾳ (day) ἀναστῆναι (to arise).’” 8 Καὶ (And) ἐμνήσθησαν (they remembered) τῶν (the) ῥημάτων (words) αὐτοῦ (of Him). 9 καὶ (And) ὑποστρέψασαι (having returned) ἀπὸ (from) τοῦ (the) μνημείου (tomb), ἀπήγγειλαν (they related) ταῦτα (these things) πάντα (all) τοῖς (to the) ἕνδεκα (eleven) καὶ (and) πᾶσιν (to all) τοῖς (the) λοιποῖς (rest). 10 ἦσαν (It was) δὲ (now) ἡ (-) Μαγδαληνὴ (Magdalene) Μαρία (Mary), καὶ (and) Ἰωάννα (Joanna), καὶ (and) Μαρία (Mary) ἡ (the mother) Ἰακώβου (of James), καὶ (and) αἱ (the) λοιπαὶ (other women) σὺν (with) αὐταῖς (them), ἔλεγον (telling) πρὸς (to) τοὺς (the) ἀποστόλους (apostles) ταῦτα (these things). 11 καὶ (And) ἐφάνησαν (appeared) ἐνώπιον (before) αὐτῶν (them) ὡσεὶ (like) λῆρος (folly) τὰ (the) ῥήματα (words) ταῦτα (of them), καὶ (and) ἠπίστουν (they did not believe) αὐταῖς (them).

John 20:1-2

John 20:18

18 Ἔρχεται (Comes) Μαριὰμ (Mary) ἡ (-) Μαγδαληνὴ (Magdalene) ἀγγέλλουσα (bringing word) τοῖς (to the) μαθηταῖς (disciples) ὅτι (-), “Ἑώρακα (I have seen) τὸν (the) Κύριον (Lord),” καὶ (and that) ταῦτα (these things) εἶπεν (He had said) αὐτῇ (to her).
