¹⁵ καὶ (And) εἶπεν (He said) πρὸς (to) αὐτούς (them), “Ἐπιθυμίᾳ (With desire) ἐπεθύμησα (I have desired) τοῦτο (this) τὸ (-) πάσχα (Passover) φαγεῖν (to eat) μεθ’ (with) ὑμῶν (you) πρὸ (before) τοῦ (-) με (I) παθεῖν (suffer).

⁵⁰ βάπτισμα (Baptism) δὲ (however) ἔχω (I have) βαπτισθῆναι (to be baptized with), καὶ (and) πῶς (how) συνέχομαι (I am distressed) ἕως (until) ὅτου (while) τελεσθῇ (it should be accomplished)!

³⁴ Λέγει (Says) αὐτοῖς (to them) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), “Ἐμὸν (My) βρῶμά (food) ἐστιν (is) ἵνα (that) ποιήσω* (I should do) τὸ (the) θέλημα (will) τοῦ (of the One) πέμψαντός (having sent) με (Me), καὶ (and) τελειώσω (should finish) αὐτοῦ (of Him) τὸ (the) ἔργον (work).

¹ Πρὸ (Before) δὲ (now) τῆς (the) ἑορτῆς (feast) τοῦ (of the) πάσχα (Passover), εἰδὼς (knowing) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) ὅτι (that) ἦλθεν (had come) αὐτοῦ (His) ἡ (-) ὥρα (hour), ἵνα (that) μεταβῇ (He would depart) ἐκ (out of) τοῦ (the) κόσμου (world) τούτου (this) πρὸς (to) τὸν (the) Πατέρα (Father), ἀγαπήσας (having loved) τοὺς (the) ἰδίους (own) τοὺς (who were) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) κόσμῳ (world), εἰς (to) τέλος (the end) ἠγάπησεν (He loved) αὐτούς (them).

¹ Ταῦτα (These things) ἐλάλησεν (spoke) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), καὶ (and) ἐπάρας (having lifted up) τοὺς (the) ὀφθαλμοὺς (eyes) αὐτοῦ (of Him) εἰς (to) τὸν (-) οὐρανὸν (heaven), εἶπεν (He said), “Πάτερ (Father), ἐλήλυθεν (has come) ἡ (the) ὥρα (hour); δόξασόν (glorify) σου (Your) τὸν (-) Υἱόν (Son), ἵνα (that) ὁ (the) Υἱὸς (Son) δοξάσῃ (may glorify) σέ (You).
