¹¹ καὶ (and) θεωρεῖ (he beholds) τὸν (-) οὐρανὸν (heaven) ἀνεῳγμένον (opening), καὶ (and) καταβαῖνον (descending) σκεῦός (a vessel) τι (certain), ὡς (as) ὀθόνην (a sheet) μεγάλην (great), τέσσαρσιν (by four) ἀρχαῖς (corners) καθιέμενον (being let down) ἐπὶ (upon) τῆς (the) γῆς (earth),

¹¹ λέγω (I say) δὲ (now) ὑμῖν (to you) ὅτι (that) πολλοὶ (many) ἀπὸ (from) ἀνατολῶν (east) καὶ (and) δυσμῶν (west) ἥξουσιν (will come), καὶ (and) ἀνακλιθήσονται (will recline) μετὰ (with) Ἀβραὰμ (Abraham) καὶ (and) Ἰσαὰκ (Isaac) καὶ (and) Ἰακὼβ (Jacob) ἐν (in) τῇ (the) βασιλείᾳ (kingdom) τῶν (of the) οὐρανῶν (heavens);

⁴⁷ Πάλιν (Again) ὁμοία (like) ἐστὶν (is) ἡ (the) βασιλεία (kingdom) τῶν (of the) οὐρανῶν (heavens) σαγήνῃ (a dragnet) βληθείσῃ (having been cast) εἰς (into) τὴν (the) θάλασσαν (sea), καὶ (and) ἐκ (of) παντὸς (every) γένους (kind) συναγαγούσῃ (having gathered together), ⁴⁸ ἣν (which), ὅτε (when) ἐπληρώθη (it was filled), ἀναβιβάσαντες (having drawn up) ἐπὶ (on) τὸν (the) αἰγιαλὸν (shore) καὶ (and) καθίσαντες (having sat down), συνέλεξαν (they collected) τὰ (the) καλὰ (good) εἰς (into) ἄγγη (vessels), τὰ (the) δὲ (and) σαπρὰ (bad) ἔξω (out) ἔβαλον (they cast).

²¹ Ἐγένετο (It came to pass) δὲ (now) ἐν (in) τῷ (-) βαπτισθῆναι (having been baptized) ἅπαντα (all) τὸν (the) λαὸν (people), καὶ (and) Ἰησοῦ (Jesus) βαπτισθέντος (having been baptized), καὶ (and) προσευχομένου (having prayed), ἀνεῳχθῆναι (was opened) τὸν (the) οὐρανὸν (heaven),

⁵¹ καὶ (And) λέγει (He says) αὐτῷ (to him), “Ἀμὴν (Truly), ἀμὴν (truly), λέγω (I say) ὑμῖν (to all of you), ὄψεσθε (you will see) τὸν (the) οὐρανὸν (heaven) ἀνεῳγότα (opened) καὶ (and) τοὺς (the) ἀγγέλους (angels) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God) ἀναβαίνοντας (ascending) καὶ (and) καταβαίνοντας (descending) ἐπὶ (on) τὸν (the) Υἱὸν (Son) τοῦ (-) ἀνθρώπου (of Man).”

⁵² καὶ (and) οὐχ (not) ὑπὲρ (for) τοῦ (the) ἔθνους (nation) μόνον (only), ἀλλ’ (but) ἵνα (that) καὶ (also) τὰ (the) τέκνα (children) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God), τὰ (those) διεσκορπισμένα (having been scattered), συναγάγῃ (He might gather together) εἰς (into) ἕν (one).

³² κἀγὼ (And I), ἐὰν (if) ὑψωθῶ (I am lifted up) ἐκ (from) τῆς (the) γῆς (earth), πάντας (all) ἑλκύσω (will draw) πρὸς (to) ἐμαυτόν (Myself).”

⁵⁶ καὶ (and) εἶπεν (he said), “Ἰδοὺ (Behold), θεωρῶ (I see) τοὺς (the) οὐρανοὺς (heavens) διηνοιγμένους (having been opened), καὶ (and) τὸν (the) Υἱὸν (Son) τοῦ (-) ἀνθρώπου (of Man) ἐκ (at) δεξιῶν (the right hand) ἑστῶτα (standing) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God).”

¹⁶ Οὐ (Not) γὰρ (for) ἐπαισχύνομαι (I am ashamed of) τὸ (the) εὐαγγέλιον (gospel), δύναμις (the power) γὰρ (for) Θεοῦ (of God) ἐστιν (it is), εἰς (unto) σωτηρίαν (salvation) παντὶ (to everyone) τῷ (-) πιστεύοντι (believing)— Ἰουδαίῳ (to Jewish) τε (both) πρῶτον (first) καὶ (and) Ἕλληνι (to Greek).

²⁹ Ἢ (Or) Ἰουδαίων (of Jews) ὁ (is He the) Θεὸς (God) μόνον (only), οὐχὶ (not) καὶ (also) ἐθνῶν (of Gentiles)? ναὶ (Yes), καὶ (also) ἐθνῶν (of Gentiles), ³⁰ εἴπερ (since indeed) εἷς (One) ὁ (-) Θεός (God is), ὃς (who) δικαιώσει (will justify) περιτομὴν (the circumcision) ἐκ (by) πίστεως (faith) καὶ (and) ἀκροβυστίαν (the uncircumcision) διὰ (through) τῆς (the same) πίστεως (faith). ³¹ Νόμον (Law) οὖν (then) καταργοῦμεν (do we nullify) διὰ (through) τῆς (-) πίστεως (faith)? μὴ (Never) γένοιτο (may it be)! ἀλλὰ (Instead), νόμον (law) ἱστάνομεν (we uphold).

⁴ οἵτινές (who) εἰσιν (are) Ἰσραηλῖται (Israelites), ὧν (whose is) ἡ (the) υἱοθεσία (divine adoption as sons), καὶ (and) ἡ (the) δόξα (glory), καὶ (and) αἱ (the) διαθῆκαι (covenants), καὶ (and) ἡ (the) νομοθεσία (lawgiving), καὶ (and) ἡ (the) λατρεία (service), καὶ (and) αἱ (the) ἐπαγγελίαι (promises);

⁹ τὰ (-) δὲ (and for) ἔθνη (the Gentiles), ὑπὲρ (for) ἐλέους (mercy), δοξάσαι (to glorify) τὸν (-) Θεόν (God), καθὼς (as) γέγραπται (it has been written): “Διὰ (Because of) τοῦτο (this) ἐξομολογήσομαί (I will praise) σοι (You) ἐν (among) ἔθνεσιν (the Gentiles), καὶ (and) τῷ (to the) ὀνόματί (name) σου (of You) ψαλῶ (will I sing).” ¹⁰ Καὶ (And) πάλιν (again) λέγει (it says): “Εὐφράνθητε (Rejoice you) ἔθνη (Gentiles), μετὰ (with) τοῦ (the) λαοῦ (people) αὐτοῦ (of Him).” ¹¹ Καὶ (And) πάλιν (again): “Αἰνεῖτε (Praise) πάντα (all) τὰ (the) ἔθνη (Gentiles), τὸν (the) Κύριον (Lord); καὶ (and) ἐπαινεσάτωσαν (praise) αὐτὸν (Him), πάντες (all) οἱ (the) λαοί (peoples).” ¹² Καὶ (And) πάλιν (again), Ἠσαΐας (Isaiah) λέγει (says): “Ἔσται (There will be) ἡ (the) ῥίζα (root) τοῦ (-) Ἰεσσαί (of Jesse), καὶ (and) ὁ (the One) ἀνιστάμενος (arising) ἄρχειν (to rule over) ἐθνῶν (Gentiles); ἐπ’ (in) αὐτῷ (Him) ἔθνη (the Gentiles) ἐλπιοῦσιν (will hope).”

²⁵ Τῷ (To Him) δὲ (now) δυναμένῳ (being able) ὑμᾶς (you) στηρίξαι (to strengthen), κατὰ (according to) τὸ (-) εὐαγγέλιόν (gospel) μου (my) καὶ (and) τὸ (the) κήρυγμα (preaching) Ἰησοῦ (of Jesus) Χριστοῦ (Christ), κατὰ (according to) ἀποκάλυψιν (the revelation) μυστηρίου (of the mystery), χρόνοις (in times) αἰωνίοις (of the ages) σεσιγημένου (having been kept secret), ²⁶ φανερωθέντος (having been made manifest) δὲ (however) νῦν (now), διά (through) τε (also) γραφῶν (Scriptures) προφητικῶν (prophetic), κατ’ (according to) ἐπιταγὴν (the commandment) τοῦ (of the) αἰωνίου (Eternal) Θεοῦ (God), εἰς (unto the) ὑπακοὴν (obedience) πίστεως (of faith) — εἰς (to) πάντα (all) τὰ (the) ἔθνη (Gentiles) γνωρισθέντος (having been made known) —

¹⁵ Ἡμεῖς (We), φύσει (by birth) Ἰουδαῖοι (Jews), καὶ (and) οὐκ (not) ἐξ (of) ἐθνῶν (the Gentiles) ‘Ἁμαρτωλοί (sinners),’

²⁸ οὐκ (Neither) ἔνι (there is) Ἰουδαῖος (Jew) οὐδὲ (nor) Ἕλλην (Greek); οὐκ (neither) ἔνι (there is) δοῦλος (slave) οὐδὲ (nor) ἐλεύθερος (free); οὐκ (neither) ἔνι (there is) ἄρσεν (male) καὶ (and) θῆλυ (female); πάντες (all) γὰρ (for) ὑμεῖς (you) εἷς (one) ἐστε (are) ἐν (in) Χριστῷ (Christ) Ἰησοῦ (Jesus).

¹⁰ εἰς (for) οἰκονομίαν (the administration) τοῦ (of the) πληρώματος (fullness) τῶν (of the) καιρῶν (times), ἀνακεφαλαιώσασθαι (to bring together) τὰ (the) πάντα (all things) ἐν (in) τῷ (-) Χριστῷ (Christ), τὰ (the things) ἐπὶ (in) τοῖς (the) οὐρανοῖς (heavens) καὶ (and) τὰ (the things) ἐπὶ (upon) τῆς (the) γῆς (earth),

⁶ εἶναι (are) τὰ (the) ἔθνη (Gentiles) συνκληρονόμα (joint-heirs), καὶ (and) σύσσωμα (a joint-body), καὶ (and) συμμέτοχα (joint-partakers) τῆς (of the) ἐπαγγελίας (promise) ἐν (in) Χριστῷ (Christ) Ἰησοῦ (Jesus), διὰ (through) τοῦ (the) εὐαγγελίου (gospel),

¹¹ ὅπου (where) οὐκ (not) ἔνι (there is) Ἕλλην (Greek) καὶ (and) Ἰουδαῖος (Jew), περιτομὴ (circumcision) καὶ (and) ἀκροβυστία (uncircumcision), βάρβαρος (Barbarian), Σκύθης (Scythian), δοῦλος (slave), ἐλεύθερος (free); ἀλλὰ (but) ‹τὰ› (-) πάντα (all) καὶ (and) ἐν (in) πᾶσιν (all) Χριστός (Christ is).

¹ Μετὰ (After) ταῦτα (these things) εἶδον (I looked), καὶ (and) ἰδοὺ (behold), θύρα (a door) ἠνεῳγμένη (was standing open) ἐν (in) τῷ (-) οὐρανῷ (heaven), καὶ (and) ἡ (the) φωνὴ (voice) ἡ (-) πρώτη (first) ἣν (that) ἤκουσα (I heard) ὡς (like) σάλπιγγος (a trumpet) λαλούσης (was speaking) μετ’ (with) ἐμοῦ (me), λέγων (saying), “Ἀνάβα (Come up) ὧδε (here), καὶ (and) δείξω (I will show) σοι (to you) ἃ (what) δεῖ (it behooves) γενέσθαι (to take place) μετὰ (after) ταῦτα (these things).”

¹⁹ Καὶ (And) ἠνοίγη (was opened) ὁ (the) ναὸς (temple) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God) ὁ (-) ἐν (in) τῷ (-) οὐρανῷ (heaven), καὶ (and) ὤφθη (was seen) ἡ (the) κιβωτὸς (ark) τῆς (of the) διαθήκης (covenant) αὐτοῦ (of Him) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) ναῷ (temple) αὐτοῦ (of Him). καὶ (And) ἐγένοντο (there were) ἀστραπαὶ (flashes of lightning), καὶ (and) φωναὶ (voices), καὶ (and) βρονταὶ (thunders), καὶ (and) σεισμὸς (an earthquake), καὶ (and) χάλαζα (hail) μεγάλη (great).

¹¹ Καὶ (And) εἶδον (I saw) τὸν (-) οὐρανὸν (heaven) ἠνεῳγμένον (having been opened), καὶ (and) ἰδοὺ (behold), ἵππος (a horse) λευκός (white), καὶ (and) ὁ (the One) καθήμενος (sitting) ἐπ’ (upon) αὐτὸν (it), καλούμενος (called) Πιστὸς (Faithful) καὶ (and) Ἀληθινός (True), καὶ (and) ἐν (in) δικαιοσύνῃ (righteousness) κρίνει (He judges) καὶ (and) πολεμεῖ (makes war).
