¹⁰ It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James, and the others with them, that told these things to the apostles.

⁵⁶ Among these was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of the sons of Zebedee.

³⁰ And the apostles came together to Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done and what they had taught.

¹¹ But Mary stood without near the tomb, weeping; and as she wept, she stooped down and looked into the tomb, ¹² and saw two angels in white raiment, sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the foot, where the body of Jesus had lain. ¹³ And they said to her: Woman, why do you weep? She said to them: They have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him. ¹⁴ Having said this, she turned back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. ¹⁵ Jesus said to her: "Woman, why do you weep? Whom do you seek? Supposing that it was the gardener, she said to him: Sir, if you have taken him hence, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away. ¹⁶ Jesus said to her: Mary. She turned, and said to him: Rabboni; which is, translated, Teacher. ¹⁷ Jesus said to her: Touch me not, for I have not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say to them, I ascend to my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God. ¹⁸ Mary Magdalen came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had said these things to her.
