³ And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you with myself, that where I am, you may be also.

³² and all nations shall be gathered before him; and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates his sheep from the goats. ³³ And he will place the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left. ³⁴ Then the King will say to those on his right hand: Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

²⁶ If any one serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall my servant also be. If any one serve me, him will my Father honor.

¹⁸ I will not leave you orphans; I am coming to you. ¹⁹ Yet a little while, and the world sees me no more; but you shall see me. Because I live, you also shall live. ²⁰ In that clay you shall know that I am in my Father, arid you in me, and I in you. ²¹ He that has my commandments and keeps them, he it is that loves me; and he that loves me shall be loved by my Father; and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. ²² Judas, not Iscariot, said to him: Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself to us, and not to the world? ²³ Jesus answered and said to him: If any one loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our abode with him.

²⁸ You have heard that I said to you, I am going away, and am coming again to you. If you loved me, you would rejoice, because I go to the Father; for my Father is greater than I.

²⁴ Father, I wish that they also, whom thou hast given me, may be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me; for thou didst love me before the foundation of the world.

¹¹ who also said: Men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, shall come in the same manner in which you saw him go into heaven.

⁵⁹ And they stoned Stephen while he was calling on the Lord, and saying: Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. ⁶⁰ And he kneeled down and cried with a loud voice: Lord, let not this sin stand against them. And when he had said this, he fell asleep. And Saul was well pleased with his death.

¹⁷ and, if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified together.

⁶ Therefore, we are always confident, especially since we know that, while living in the body, we are absent from the Lord: ⁷ for we walk by faith, not by sight: ⁸ we are confident, indeed, and would be pleased rather to depart from the body, and to dwell with the Lord.

²³ I am in a strait between the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better:

¹⁶ for the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall arise first; ¹⁷ then we, the living who remain, shall, together with them, be caught up in clouds into the air to meet the Lord, and so shall we be ever with the Lord.

¹² that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

¹² if we are patient, we shall also reign with him; if we deny him, he will also deny us;

²⁸ so the Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and to those who look for him he will appear the second time, without a sin-offering, in order to salvation.

² Beloved, now are we the children of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. ³ And every one that has this hope in Him purifies himself, even as He is pure.

²¹ To him that overcomes, I will give to sit with me in my throne, even as I also have overcome, and have taken my seat with my father in his throne.

²² And I saw no temple in it: for the Lord God the Almighty, and the Lamb, are its temple. ²³ And the city had no need of the sun, nor of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God gave it light, and the lamp of it is the Lamb.

³ And there shall be no more curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it: and his servants shall serve him. ⁴ And they shall see his face, and his name shall be in their foreheads. ⁵ And there shall be no more night; and they have no need of the lamp, nor of the light of the sun: for the Lord God will give them light: and they shall reign from age to age.
