²⁰ I have been crucified with Christ, yet I live; no longer I, but Christ lives in me. And the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

³ And the tempter came to him and said: If you are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.

²⁸ even as the Son of man came, not to be ministered to, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

¹¹ I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

¹⁹ Yet a little while, and the world sees me no more; but you shall see me. Because I live, you also shall live. ²⁰ In that clay you shall know that I am in my Father, arid you in me, and I in you.

¹³ Greater love has no man than this, that one should lay down his life for his friends.

²¹ that they all may be one, as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

³⁶ And as they went along the road, they came to some water; and the eunuch said: See, here is water; what hinders me from being immersed?

²⁰ and immediately he preached Jesus in the synagogues, that he is the Sou of God.

¹⁷ For in it God's plan of justifying men by faith is revealed, in order to faith: as it is written, He that is justified by faith, shall live.

² through whom we have had access, by faith, into this grace in which we stand; and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

⁴ Therefore, we are buried with him, by immersion, into death, that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so also we should walk in a new life. ⁵ For if we have become united to him by the likeness of his death, we shall certainly be united to him by the likeness of his resurrection; ⁶ knowing this, that our former man has been crucified with him, in order that the sinful body may be deprived of its power, so that we should no longer serve sin:

⁸ Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him;

¹³ and present not your members to sin, as instruments of unrighteousness: but present yourselves to God, as alive from the dead; and your members to God, as instruments of righteousness.

² For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has freed me from the law of sin, and of death. ³ For what the law could not do, because it was weak through the flesh, God has done, who, sending his own son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for a sin-offering, condemned sin in the flesh, ⁴ that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

³⁷ Yet, in all these things, we are more than conquerors, through him that loved us.

²⁴ not that we are lords over your faith, but fellow- workers for your joy: for by faith you stand.

¹⁰ always bearing about in our body the violent death of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be made manifest in our body. ¹¹ For we who live are continually delivered up to death for Jesus sake, that the life also of Jesus may be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

⁷ for we walk by faith, not by sight:

¹⁵ and he died for all, that those who live should no more live for them selves, but for him who died for them, and rose again.

³ For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh,

³ since you seek a proof of Christ's speaking in me, who toward you is not weak, but who is mighty in you:

⁵ Make trial of yourselves, whether you are in the faith; put yourselves to the proof. Do you not know your own selves, that Christ Jesus is in you? unless you be without proof.

⁴ who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,

¹⁶ knowing that a man is not justified by works of law, but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed on Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by faith in Christ, and not by works of law: because, by works of law no flesh shall be justified.

¹¹ But that no one is justified by law in the sight of God, is evident: for the just by faith shall live.

²⁴ Now those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

¹⁴ But may I never boast save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

⁴ but God, being rich in mercy, on account of his great love with which he loved us, ⁵ made alive with Christ even us, being dead to our offenses, (by grace you are saved,)

¹⁷ that Christ may dwell in your hearts through the faith;

² and walk in love, as the Christ also loved us, and gave him self for us as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet odor.

²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, as the Christ also loved the church, and delivered himself up for it,

¹³ I am able to do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

²⁷ to whom God would make known what is the glorious riches of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory,

¹¹ in whom you have been also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in the putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, ¹² when you were buried with him in immersion, in which you were also raised with him by your faith in the energy of God, who raised him from the dead. ¹³ And you, being dead to your offenses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, he has made alive together with him, having forgiven you all your offenses; ¹⁴ having blotted out the handwriting in ordinances which was against us, which was opposed to us, he also took it out of the way, driving a nail through it by means of his cross;

³ for you are dead, and your life is hid with the Christ in God. ⁴ When the Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with him in glory.

¹⁰ and to wait for his Son from heaven, even Jesus, whom he raised from the dead, and who delivers us from the coming wrath.

¹⁰ who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we might live together with him.

¹⁴ who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

⁸ -whom, though you have not seen him, yet you love; on whom not now looking, but believing, you rejoice with joy unspeakable, and full of glory,

¹ Since, then, Christ has suffered for us in the flesh, do you also arm yourselves with the same determination; for he that has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, ² so that he no longer lives the rest of his time in the flesh, according to the desires of men, but according to the will of God.

⁷ But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin.

⁹ In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God sent his only-begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. ¹⁰ In this is love; not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the expiation for our sins.

¹⁴ And we have seen, and we do testify, that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the. world.

¹⁰ He that believes on the Son of God has the testimony in him self: he that believes not God, has made him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony which God has borne concerning his Son. ¹¹ And this is the testimony, that God has given us eternal life: and this life is in his Son. ¹² He that has the Son, has life: he that has not the Son of God, has not life. ¹³ I have written these things to you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God.

²⁰ And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding, that we may know him that is true: and we are in him that is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and life eternal. Little children, keep yourselves from idols.

⁵ and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the first born from the dead, and the Prince of the kings of the earth. To him that loves us, and that has washed us from our sins in his own blood,

²⁰ Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
