⁴¹ Jesus said to them, If you were blind, you should have no sin: but now you say, We see; therefore your sin remains.

¹² See you a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him.

²¹ Woe to them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

³⁵ Yet you say, Because I am innocent, surely his anger shall turn from me. Behold, I will plead with you, because you say, I have not sinned.

⁴⁷ And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
