Proverbs 12:1 Cross References - ACV

¹ He who loves correction loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is brutish.

⁹ Become ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding, whose trappings must be bit and bridle to hold them in, else they will not come near to thee.

⁶ A brutish man knows not, nor does a fool understand this.

²⁷ Make me to understand the way of thy precepts, so I shall meditate on thy wondrous works.

⁹⁷ O how I love thy law! It is my meditation all the day. ⁹⁸ Thy commandments make me wiser than my enemies, for they are ever with me. ⁹⁹ I have more understanding than all my teachers, for thy testimonies are my meditation. ¹⁰⁰ I understand more than the aged because I have kept thy precepts.

¹⁰ For wisdom shall enter into thy heart, and knowledge shall be pleasant to thy soul, ¹¹ discretion shall watch over thee, understanding shall keep thee,

¹² and say, How I have hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof. ¹³ Neither have I obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined my ear to those who instructed me!

¹⁷ I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently shall find me.

³² Now therefore, ye sons, hearken to me. For blessed are those who keep my ways.

⁷ He who corrects a scoffer gets himself reviling. And he who reproves a wicked man gets himself a bruise. ⁸ Reprove not a scoffer, lest he hate thee. Reprove a wise man, and he will love thee.

¹⁰ There is grievous correction for him who forsakes the way. He who hates reproof shall die.

¹ He who desires to separate himself seeks excuses, and rages against all sound wisdom.

³ The ox knows his owner, and the donkey his master's crib, but Israel does not know; my people does not consider.

¹⁰ and in all deception of unrighteousness in those who are perishing, in return for which, they did not accept the love of the truth in order for them to be saved.
