¹ WHEREFORE, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Jesus,

²¹ Jesus therefore said to them again: Peace be to you. As the Father has sent me, I also send you.

²⁷ After that, he says to Thomas: Reach hither thy finger, and see my hands; and reach thy hand, and thrust it into my side; and be not faithless, but believing.

⁶ among whom are ye also, called of Jesus Christ; ⁷ to all the beloved of God that are in Rome, called to be saints: Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁸ And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. ²⁹ Because whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the first-born among many brethren. ³⁰ And whom he predestined, them he also called; and whom he called, them he also justified; and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

²⁴ whom he also called, even us, not from among the Jews only, but also from among the Gentiles?

¹⁷ And if some of the branches were broken off, and thou, being a wild olive-tree, wert grafted in among them, and became a partaker with them of the root and the fatness of the olive-tree;

⁸ For I say that Jesus Christ has been made a minister of the circumcision, for the sake of God's truth, in order to confirm the promises made to the fathers;

²⁷ For they thought it good; and their debtors are they. For if the Gentiles shared in their spiritual things, they ought also to minister to them in carnal things.

² to the church of God which is at Corinth, those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

²³ And all things I do for the gospel's sake, that I may become a partaker thereof with others.

¹⁷ Because we, the many, are one loaf, one body; for we all share in that one loaf.

⁷ And our hope of you is steadfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so are ye also of the consolation.

⁶ that the Gentiles are fellow-heirs, and of the same body, and partakers with us of the promise, in Christ Jesus, through the gospel;

¹ I, THE prisoner in the Lord, exhort you, therefore, to walk worthy of the calling with which ye were called,

⁴ There is one body, and one Spirit, as also ye were called in one hope of your calling;

¹⁴ I pursue on toward the mark, for the prize of the heavenly calling of God in Christ Jesus.

¹² giving thanks to the Father, who made us meet for the portion of the inheritance of the saints in light;

²² in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and blameless and unaccused before him;

¹² Put on therefore, as God's chosen, holy and beloved, bowels of compassion, kindness, lowliness of mind, meekness, long-suffering,

¹² that ye should walk worthy of God, who is calling you into his kingdom and glory.

²⁷ I adjure you by the Lord, that this letter be read to all the holy brethren.

¹¹ To which end we also pray for you always, that our God may count you worthy of the calling, and accomplish all the good pleasure of goodness and the work of faith, with power;

¹⁴ whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

² And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them because they are brethren; but the rather do them service, because they who receive the benefit are faithful and beloved. These things teach and exhort.

¹² Fight the good fight of the faith, lay hold on the eternal life, unto which thou wast called, and didst make the good profession before many witnesses.

⁹ who saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose, and the grace which was given us in Christ Jesus before eternal ages,

⁷ Consider what I say; for the Lord will give thee understanding in all things.

¹¹ For both he that sanctifies and they who are sanctified are all of one; for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

¹⁷ Wherefore, in all things it became him to be made like to his brethren, that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

¹⁴ For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm unto the end.

¹⁴ Having therefore a great high priest, who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. ¹⁵ For we have not a high priest who can not be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but who has in all points been tempted in like manner, without sin.

¹ FOR every high priest, being taken from among men, is appointed for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins; ² being able to bear with the ignorant and erring, since he himself also is encompassed with infirmity; ³ and on account of it he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to make offering for sins. ⁴ And no one takes to himself the honor, but being called by God, as was also Aaron. ⁵ So also Christ did not glorify himself to be made high priest, but he who spoke to him: Thou art my Son, I this day have begotten thee; ⁶ as also in another place, he says: Thou art a priest forever, After the order of Melchizedek; ⁷ who, in the days of his flesh offering up prayers and supplications, with strong crying and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and being heard on account of his godly fear, ⁸ though a Son yet learned from what he suffered the [required] obedience, ⁹ and being perfected became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey him; ¹⁰ called by God, High Priest, after the order of Melchizedek.

²⁰ where as forerunner for us Jesus entered, having become a high priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek.

²⁶ For such a high priest became us, holy, harmless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

¹ Now of the things which we are saying, this is the chief: We have such a high priest, who sat down on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty of the heavens; ² a minister of the holy places, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. ³ For every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices; wherefore it is necessary, that this one have something which he may offer.

¹¹ But Christ, having come as a high priest of the good things to come, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands (that is, not of this creation),

²¹ and having a great priest over the house of God;

⁹ But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession; that ye should show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;

⁵ For so in the old time the holy women also, who hoped in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands,

¹ THE elders among you I exhort, who am a fellow-elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, who am also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed;

¹⁰ But the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after ye have suffered a little while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.

³ Seeing that his divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and might; ⁴ through which he has given us exceeding great and precious promises, that by these ye may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world through lust; ⁵ yea for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith fortitude; and to fortitude, knowledge; ⁶ and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, patience; and to patience, godliness; ⁷ and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. ⁸ For if these things are in you, and abound, they cause that ye shall not be inactive nor unfruitful in attaining to the full knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. ⁹ But he that lacks these things is blind, not seeing afar off, having forgotten the cleansing away of his old sins. ¹⁰ Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure; for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall.

³ that which we have seen and have heard we report to you also, that ye also may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

¹ JUDE, a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to the called, beloved in God the Father, and kept by Jesus Christ:

¹⁴ These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them; because he is Lord of lords, and King of kings; and they who are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

²⁰ Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye saints, ye apostles, and ye prophets; because God judged your cause upon her.
