⁵ Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

¹⁹ But when they deliver you up, take not thought how or what ye shall speak; for it shall be given you in that hour what ye shall speak. ²⁰ For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father that speaks in you.

¹⁵ For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay or withstand.

⁴⁹ And, behold, I send forth the promise of my Father upon you. But do ye tarry in the city, until ye are endued with power from on high.

⁵ I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abides in me and I in him, the same bears much fruit; because without me ye can do nothing.

⁶ I planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

¹⁰ According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master-builder I laid a foundation, and another builds thereon. But let each one take heed how he builds thereon.

¹⁰ But by the grace of God I am what I am; and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all; yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

¹⁶ to the one a savor of death unto death, to the other a savor of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?

⁷ But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be God's, and not of us;

⁹ And he said to me: My grace is sufficient for thee; for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may abide upon me.

¹³ for it is God who works in you both to will and to perform, of his good pleasure.

¹³ I can do all things, in him who strengthens me.

¹⁷ Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the lights, with whom there is no variableness, or shadow of turning.
