Worsley⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹⁹ But wo to them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days. ²⁰ Pray that your flight be not in the winter, nor on the sabbath: ²¹ for there shall be then great affliction, such as has not been from the beginning of the world unto this time, no, nor ever shall be. ²² And unless those days be shortened, no one would be saved; but for the sake of the elect those days shall be shortened. ²³ Then if any shall say to you, Behold here is the Messiah, or there; believe it not: ²⁴ for there shall rise up false Christs, and false prophets, who shall shew great signs and prodigies, so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect. ²⁵ Lo, I have told you before-hand: and therefore if they say to you, ²⁶ Behold, he is in the desert, go not out: behold, he is the secret chambers, believe them not: ²⁷ for as the lightning cometh from the east, and flashes in an instant even to the west, so shall be the coming of the Son of man. ²⁸ For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
