15 And He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.
16 And He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up; and He went, according to His custom, into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up to read.
17 And there was given to Him a book of the prophet Isaiah; and, opening the book, He found the place where it had been written,
18 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me; because He anointed Me to publish good tidings to the poor; He hath sent Me to proclaim release to captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to send away the crushed in freedom.
19 to proclaim an acceptable year of the Lord."
20 And, having closed the book. He gave it back to the attendant, and sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were fastened on Him.
21 And He began to say to them, "To-day has this Scripture been fulfilled in your ears."
