4 nor to give heed to fables and endless genealogies; which, indeed, occasion disputes rather than God's dispensation, which is in faith, so do I now.
5 But the end of the charge is love out of a pure heart and a good conscience and of faith unfeigned;
6 which some having missed turned aside to vain talk;
7 wishing to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they confidently affirm.
