44 And will level thee even with the ground, and thy children; and they will not leave stone upon stone in this whole [city,] because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
45 But he came into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought, and overthrew the tables of the money changers.
46 Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
47 And he was teaching dayly in the temple. But the chief priests, and the scribes, and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,
48 And found not what they might do to him: for all the people were attentive to hear him.
