Whiston(i)
39 And we [are] his witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; and they slew [him,] and hanged [him] on a tree:
40 Him God raised up the third day, and granted him to be made manifest:
41 Not to all the people, but to witnesses, chosen before of God, to us, who did eat and drink and converse with him after [he] arose from the dead forty days.
42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he who was ordained of God the judge of quick and dead.
