Matthew 27:24-26

Wesley(i) 24 But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified. Then Pilate, seeing, that he could prevail nothing, but rather a tumult was made, took water and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just man: see ye to it. 25 Then all the people answering said, His blood be on us and on our children. 26 Then released he Barabbas to them, and having scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.
