You knew that I reap where I did not sow and gather where I did not scatter. ²⁷ Therefore you were obligated to deposit my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received what is mine with interest. ²⁸ Therefore, take the talent away from him and give it to the one having the ten talents. ²⁹ For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. ³⁰ And throw out the useless servant, into the darkness farthest out!’ There there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
