WPNT⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ My dear children, I am writing these things to you so that you not sin; if someone does sin, we have an Advocate in the Father’s presence, righteous Jesus Christ— ² also, He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; not concerning ours only but also concerning those of the whole world. ³ Now by this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments.
