Genesis 28:13-17 And he saw the Lord by his side, saying, I am the Lord, the God of Abraham your father, and the God of Isaac: I will give to you and to your seed this land on which you are sleeping.

You will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. Every family on earth will be blessed through you and through your descendants. ¹⁵ "Remember, I am with you. I will watch over you wherever you go. I will also bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I do what I have promised you." ¹⁶ When Jacob was awaked out of his sleep, he said, "Surely the LORD is in this place, and I was not aware." ¹⁷ And he was afraid, and said, How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.
