Exodus 7:17-21

VIN(i) 17 Thus says the LORD, "By this you will know that I am the LORD. Look, I am about to strike with the staff that is in my hand the water that is in the Nile, and it will be changed to blood. 18 The fish in the Nile will die and the river will stink. The Egyptians will be unable to drink water from the Nile."'"'" 19 the LORD then spoke to Moses: "Tell Aaron, Take your staff and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt; its rivers, canals, ponds, and all its reservoirs. They will turn into blood. There will be blood everywhere in Egypt, even in the buckets of wood and stone pitchers." 20 Moses and Aaron did as the LORD commanded. Aaron raised his staff and struck the Nile in front of Pharaoh and his officials. All the water in the river turned into blood. 21 The fish in the Nile died. The river smelled bad. The Egyptians could not drink any water from the river. There was blood everywhere in Egypt.
