2 Chronicles 32:33-33:9

VIN(i) 33 Hezekiah slept in death with his ancestors. He was buried in the upper tombs of David's descendants. When Hezekiah died, all of Judah and the people in Jerusalem honored him. His son Manasseh succeeded him as king. 33 1 Manasseh was a son of twelve years when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem fifty five years. 2 And he did evil in the eyes of the LORD according to the detestable things of the nations whom the LORD drove out before the Israelites. 3 For again he rebuilt the high places that his father Hezekiah had broken down, and raised up altars for the Baals, and made Asherahs and bowed himself to all the host of the heavens, and served them. 4 He built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, "My name shall be in Jerusalem forever." 5 He built altars for all the army of the sky in the two courts of the LORD’s house. 6 He also made his children to pass through the fire in the Valley of Ben Hinnom; and he practiced sorcery, divination, and witchcraft, and consulted mediums, and spiritists: he worked much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger. 7 He set the engraved image of the idol, which he had made, in God's house, of which God said to David and to Solomon his son, “In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my name forever. 8 I will not any more remove the foot of Israel from off the land which I have appointed for your fathers, if only they will observe to do all that I have commanded them, even all the law, the statutes, and the ordinances given by Moses.” 9 And Manasseh made Judah and the people of Jerusalem to err, to do worse than the nations whom the LORD had destroyed before the sons of Israel.
