Or do ye not remember the five loaves among the five thousand, and how many panniers you carried off; ¹⁰ nor the seven loaves among the four thousand, and how many baskets you carried off? ¹¹ How is it that you do not understand that I did not speak to you of bread, when I cautioned you to beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees? ¹² Then they understood that he did not caution them against the leaven of the bread, but against the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
