Luke 4:31-37

Thomson(i) 31 When he came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and was teaching them on the sabbath days, 32 they were astonished at his manner of teaching, for his discourse was with authority. 33 And there was in the synagogue a man, who had a spirit of an unclean demon. And he cried with a loud voice, 34 saying, Hah! What hast thou to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth! Art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art. The holy one of God. 35 Thereupon Jesus rebuked him, saying, Be silent and go out of him. And the demon having thrown the man in the midst, went out of him without hurting him. 36 And they were all amazed, and said to one another, What is the meaning of this, that with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they go out? 37 And his fame spread through all the neighbouring country.
