Hebrews 6:12-15

Thomson(i) 12 that you may not become languid, but imitators of them who through faith and long suffering inherit the promises. 13 For when God made a promise to Abraham, as he had none greater to swear by, he swore by himself, 14 saying, "Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee." 15 And so he, having waited with patience, obtained the promise.
