25 chusing rather to suffer afflictions with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
26 accounting the reproach of the Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he had an eye to the reward.
27 By faith he left Egypt in defiance of the king's wrath; for he persevered as seeing Him who is invisible.
