Genesis 1:14-20

Thomson(i) 14 Then God said, "Let there be luminaries in the firmament of heaven, to give light on the earth; to make a separation between the day and the night: and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and for years; 15 and let them be for an illumination in the firmament of heaven so as to shine on the earth." And it was so. 16 God indeed made the two great luminaries, the greater luminary for the regulations of the day, and the lesser luminary, with the stars, for the regulations of the night. 17 And God placed them in the firmament of heaven so as to shine on the earth, 18 and to regulate the day and the night, and to make a division between the light and the darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was an evening and there was a morning. The fourth day. 20 Then God said, "Let the waters produce moving creatures having life; and winged creatures flying above the earth in the open firmament of heaven." And it was so.
