Amos 6:4-7 Some of you are sleeping on beds of ivory and lolling at ease on their couches, and eating kids from the flocks, and from the herds calves fed with milk:

Thomson⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁴ Some of you are sleeping on beds of ivory and lolling at ease on their couches, and eating kids from the flocks, and from the herds calves fed with milk: ⁵ some are dwelling: on the sound of musical instruments; as if they thought it fixed and not fleeting. ⁶ Some are drinking filtered wine and anointing themselves with most precious ointment and have no feeling for the affliction of Joseph. ⁷ Now for this cause, from being a government of mighties they shall be captives, and the neighing of horses shall be taken away from Ephraim.
