5 in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings,
6 in purity, in knowledge, in long suffering, in gentleness, in a holy spirit, in undissembled love,
7 in the word of truth, in the power of God, with the armour of righteousness on the right and left,
8 in honour and dishonour, in evil report and good report, as deceivers, though we are true;
9 as unknown, though well known; as dying, though behold we live; as chastened, yet not put to death;
10 as sorrowful, yet still rejoicing; as poor, yet enriching many; as having nothing, yet possessing all things.
11 O Corinthians! Our mouth is opened to you; our heart is enlarged.
12 You are not straightened by us, but you are straightened by your own affections.
13 Now in return, I speak as to children, Be ye also enlarged.
14 Form no associations with unbelievers; for what fellowship is there between righteousness and unrighteousness? What communion hath light with darkness?
15 What concord hath Christ with Belial? or what portion hath a believer with an unbeliever?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God hath said, "Because I will dwell among them and walk about among them, and will be their God, and they shall be my people;
17 therefore come out from among them and separate yourselves, saith the Lord, and touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you,
